Aphasia, Life After a Stroke: Jonathan Hirons

  • Resumen

  • 9 out of 10 people have never heard the term “Aphasia.” Aphasia is a language disorder affecting the production or comprehension of speech and the ability to read or write due to a brain injury. Two-thirds of stroke victims of all ages have Aphasia.

At age 69, Jonathan Hirons had a stroke. The complication from the stroke was Aphasia, and Jonathan was now starting all over again.

A filmmaker and producer, Jonathan recently produced a short documentary about Aphasia, to create greater awareness of Aphasia by bringing it to a wider audience.

So, how do we start all over again?
