  • Season 1 Wrap-Up: Embracing Your Self-Awareness Journey with Marc and Claudine Chiarmonte
    Aug 1 2022
It is human nature that we tend to overcomplicate things and overthink consequences before they even happen. These reflect in our actions. With the universe always speaking, we often fail to send the right signals and get answers different from what we hoped.A noisy road full of uncertainty, detours, and distractions - this is how the path that leads to the life we dream of looks. In this episode, we want to paint a picture of how we can make it easier to figure out and where we can start to unravel the threads that wove themselves into our already intricate thinking patterns. The message is crystal clear . We see through our path clearer when we know ourselves inside and out. We can cross our own limitations if we can acknowledge the pains of and nourish the wounded child inside us. Let us learn to humbly accept and appreciate who we are despite the battles we have fought and lost, drop our baggage, pick up the pieces, move forward, and make a new beginning without judging ourselves - just observing and celebrating our small wins. Eventually, our attitude towards ourselves mirrors our relationships and the new ones that we make.  It doesn’t come easy. But it will pay off if we start knowing who we are, what we feel deep down, and what our bodies and souls are longings for. Start feeling and defer the thinking. When we understand what we feel in our body, we send the right message to our brains, and we begin to think and act with better reason. Tune in to this episode as Marc and Claudine serve all the nuggets to wrap Season 1. We have unique stories, walk through different paths, and head toward different destinations. And the only way to strive better is by not judging our progress against others but by being better than who we were yesterday- focusing on being consistent rather than trying to hit the big goals in one blow.Whatever stage you are in your self-awareness journey, the wisdom in this episode will help you begin to understand yourself and let it ripple out one small step at a time.Tune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast. S1 E50 | Season 1 Wrap-Up: Embracing Your Self-Awareness Journey  with Marc and Claudine Click here to listen to this episode: https://smartpa.ge/bto These are the highlights you wouldn’t want to miss:01:08 - Intro01:46 - Embodiment and body listening04:17 - Appreciation, self-acceptance, and self-acknowledgment07:56 - The questions we can ask to know if we are in alignment with our soul’s purpose10:32 - Alignment, vibration, and manifestation12:42 - Getting help when we get stuck13:21 -  How to act from our intention and realize we always have a CHOICE15:17 - The choice to be in the present moment opens up to better relationships16:32 - How to approach the polarities in our life17:41 - Anticipating and looking at death as a beautiful gift19:40 - Allowing vs. suppressing grief20:50 - Embracing the dark and light inside of us22:28 - Sensuality and the feminine and masculine energies24:45 -Filling the need for intimacy, connection, belongingness, and being touched starts from within25:27 - How to nurture our relationshipsAbout the Hosts:Claudine Chiarmonte PCC, LCSWClaudine is a gifted psychotherapist, coach, speaker, and podcaster with over 27 years of experience in transforming the lives of individuals, families, and clients in Fortune 500 companies.Six years ago, Claudine experienced a near-fatal car accident that awakened her to her purpose. • Connect with Yourself Deeply and Heal Trauma Through Somatic Therapy with Marina Yanay-Triner
    Jul 25 2022
Our brain indeed controls the functions in our body. But do you realize that our body sends signals to our brain? Our mind and body are linked intrinsically, but our mind interprets what initially happens to our body. When a stressful event happens - and by stressful, we mean traumatic - something happens to our body. It can get overwhelmed, freeze, and turn survival mode on. It's not only our brain that keeps track of the event. Instead, our body holds on to memories of trauma, too. And much of the way our brain responds is centered on what happened during a stressful experience in the past.Trauma carries negative thoughts and feelings of deep hurt, feelings of threat, and anger. If these thoughts and feelings aren't released, they become pent-up emotions that live in our cells and get reactivated when similarly stressful situations happen. What happens next is that a feedback loop that continually runs between the mind and body is created. Because of the wrong decisions we make based on a trauma response, we keep getting the wrong results and complain about being stuck in the hamster wheel. That is where Somatic Therapy can help release trapped emotions inside our body structure and its parts.Tune in to this episode as our guest, Marina Yanay-Triner speaks about how Somatic Therapy can help release trapped emotions through a mind-body approach to healing trauma. Tune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast.S1 E47 | Connect with Yourself Deeply and Heal Trauma Through Somatic Therapy with Marina Yanay-TrinerClick here to listen to this episode: https://smartpa.ge/bto These are the highlights you wouldn’t want to miss:02:01  - (Marina’s breakthrough story) Seeing reality in different ways and learning from different perspectives. 03:45 -  Connecting with our body through feelings, sensations, and emotions.05:41 -  What is somatic work and how does it heal trauma?08:06 - Somatic Therapy methods14:30 -  Understanding our bodily emotions and knowing how to regulate them17:39 -  What to do when you are feeling the onset of anxiety20:58 - Processing and learning from our emotions vs. creating trauma response23:17 -  Healing and moving on from her (Marina) inherited family trauma to embrace her married life.26:18 - Marina’s advice: Use breath work to process and release emotions.About the Guest:Marina Yanay-Triner is the compassionate somatic coach. • Create A Resiliency Plan that Stops Stress and Overwhelm Before They Even Happen with Sheila Robison-Kiss
    Jul 18 2022
“Stress” is an overused and abused term. In fact, we use the term “stress” on a daily basis without regard for the real sense of the word. People use it to describe a range of things from simply annoying instances to extremely triggering situations. Search Google for advice on “How to manage stress and overwhelm?” You will get tons of advice that tell you how to clear or manage the ongoing effects of stress. In the context of mental health, however, there are two essential things. The first comes under the label of “self-awareness.” It is all about knowing the source of stress and overwhelm or the things that pull your triggers. The second is “resilience” or consciously putting the appropriate measures in place to avoid the point of derailment. In our latest episode, we had the chance to speak with an award-winning mental health educator, Sheila Robison-Kiss. What we love about this session is that Sheila was able to squeeze 20 years of experience into an array of value-packed resources in one episode. The tools are meant to equip individuals with the tools for understanding where their stress is coming from, what their triggers are, identifying patterns of behavior, as well as how the “inner child” is playing out in the picture. Sheila also demonstrates how having a resiliency map can avoid total derailment from happening. We invite you to tune in to our latest episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast and walk away with resources that will help make life a little more peaceful. S1 E47 | Create A Resiliency Plan that Stops Stress and Overwhelm Before They Even Happen with Sheila Robison-KissClick here to listen to this episode: https://smartpa.ge/bto These are the highlights you wouldn’t want to miss:02:12 - Sheila’s breakthrough story: Being her God-ordained, authentic self04:07 - How to do an honest audit of yourself: Who are you? and what is your mission?05:46 - Her mission: Supporting individuals in the area of mental health07:19 - Tools to help keep you on a path of balance09:51 - Do this powerful practice to unburden you of pent-up emotions.11:50 -  How to keep things under control with a resilience plan17:21 - Achieving the “inner-child peace” to begin personal  healing and control23:41 - Why you should accept and commit  to mental health healing About the Guest*NJ BIZ Blue Cross Blue Shield Mental Health Educator Awardee 2021*Sheila Robinson-Kiss is an MSNBC featured mental health expert and the author of five books. • How To Effectively Break Communication Barriers In Your Relationship with Melanie Curtin
    Jul 11 2022
Did you ever feel neglected or dropped? Yet the conversation ends up with your partner on the defense instead of making amends? Was there a time your partner did something that made you feel important and loved? Too bad, it turned out to be a one-time thing? Does it feel like a hit or miss trying to delight your partner? Do you often think that he/she doesn’t get you?Did you ever feel you could've handled it better? It all boils down to how the conversation went, what you said, and what you didn't. In most homes, things were just "swept under the rug."Over the years, communities have evolved from close-knit tribes more akin to families to a disconnected society. The advanced tools available to us today offer sophistication that allows for independence and these are the same tools that trap us in isolation, leaving us impaired when it comes to communicating with vulnerability. How can relationships survive the isolation trap? • How to Live Life in Curiosity with Marc and Claudine
    Jul 4 2022
Curiosity is what lies on the other side of the wall that separates us from our dreams. It pushes us to tread uncertain waters, sail against hostile winds, and ride the waves. It is the strong desire to discover and conquer without reservations and judgment. It keeps us from settling for mediocrity and seizing the infinite possibilities. Curiosity fuels our passion and saves us from stagnation.  Truth be told, we often have a passive attitude towards living in curiosity. But if we have the slightest interest to break through the ordinary life, we must find answers to these questions:What exactly is curiosity? What could we possibly gain if we lived in curiosity? Are we losing out living without it?Join Marc and Claudine as they amplify a topic that's rarely discussed but given a chance would get us an inch closer to discovering opportunities that are just lurking around the corner - conversations with new acquaintances, trying something new, a wider network on the little hobbies, making dreams reality, a whole new universe of thoughts that just sit quietly inside our brains, an entirely different way to showcase our other sides, and so much more. And if you feel like it, join the "curious" conversation on our socials and tell us what peaks your curiosity.Tune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast. S1 E46 | How to Live Life in Curiosity with Marc and ClaudineClick here to listen to this episode: https://smartpa.ge/bto These are the highlights you wouldn’t want to miss:02:49 - The questions that show our natural curiosity about our existence03:30 - Curiosity as the doorway to discovering ourselves04:24 - Embracing curiosity with the willingness to live in uncertainty07:04 - The openness to trying what opens us up to possibilities08:13 -  How relationships look like without the curiosity element11:39 -  Curiosity as a coping mechanism13:17 -  You’ll never know what you don’t like unless you’ve tried it14:39 - How much we grow depends on the space we allow ourselves to expand17:07 - Initiating and sparking the curiosity for new things in a relationship19:52 - The risk in trying and not trying.21:01 - Dropping the self-limitations and accepting the invitation to curiosity About the Hosts:Claudine Chiarmonte PCC, LCSWClaudine is a gifted psychotherapist, coach, speaker, and podcaster with over 27 years of experience in transforming the lives of individuals, families, and clients in Fortune 500 companies.Six years ago, Claudine experienced a near-fatal car accident that awakened her to her purpose. • Ignite Your  Divine Ecstatic Sexual and Spiritual Potential Through Tantra Healing with Lourdes Starshower
    Jun 27 2022
If our sensuality and sexuality are at the core of who we are, it effects what we attract and allow into our lives. - Lourdes Starshower. From this premise, we ask ourselves this question - “If we are not attracting the partner that we want in our lives, then how does our sexuality actually look like from the inside?”Many of us are not aware of our child wounds around our sexuality. These wounds could be in the form of abuse, repression of self-pleasure, apprehensions toward sexual attraction to the same sex, shutting out conversations about sexuality, or giving the impression of it being shameful. We all have heard these stories from our parents, in school, or even in the church. The repression can have massive effects on our physical, emotional, neurological, subconscious, and spiritual energy. Our orientation about sexuality early in life has something to do with how we perceive our sexuality and how we relate to ourselves when it comes to being intimate with another person. If we open mind and heart to accepting these ideas, tantric healing can open the door to healing these wounds. We can then come into alignment with our true selves, unlearn and re-learn how to give love and pleasure, and be intimate with ourselves the way we want to be loved. And when the right person comes into our life, we feel whole, centered, and ready to share that intimacy. This episode is an open and straightforward discussion about the topic of sexuality and the ideas around it. It may contain words that others may deem explicit. All terms have been used precisely for the sake of knowledgeable and informative discussion. If you are ready to satisfy your curiosity about your sexuality and what is there for you to re-learn and explore, then you definitely should give this episode a listen.Tune in to another impactful episode of Breakthrough The Ordinary podcast. S1 E45 | Ignite Your  Divine Ecstatic Sexual and Spiritual Potential Through Tantra Healing with Lourdes StarshowerClick here to listen to this episode: https://smartpa.ge/bto These are the highlights you wouldn’t want to miss:03:08 - How Lourdes became a Tantric Practitioner and how Tantric healing transformed her life09:30 - How can people create a breakthrough in their life?11:22 -   The benefits of sexual healing in relationships22:02 - What is de-armoring, how is it done, and how does it heal sexual shame?25:55 - How does tantric de-armoring affect the orgasmic ability in men and women?28:25 - Meditative self-love practices that allow you to become the partner you desire33:45 - Why receptiveness allows for exploring what’s possible in intimate pleasureAbout the GuestLourdes Starshower was an Advanced Certified Tantra educator, sacred sexuality coach, shamanic minister,  breathwork, and  Coach Clairvoyant. • The Importance of Self-Care in Creating Balance and Harmony in Your Life
    Jun 20 2022
Do you find yourself complaining about stress too often that it has become a part of the conversations in your head? Do you stress over the usual traffic, nooks, and crannies in the house that never get cleaned, to-do lists that never get done, the pile of workload in the office, or the inbox that never gets emptied? All these add up.Here’s the question - When was the last time you squeezed in a coffee date, a spa session, reconnected with a friend, bonded with the family while really being present without having to care an ounce about duties? These are much-needed breathers. If you did, congrats for being present in the moment! If you haven’t -here’s another question. Are you really stressed? Or you have totally skipped making time for yourself? Are you too absorbed with meeting the success metrics and think you have an unlimited energy supply?Stress comes in different forms nowadays, and one that really equates to it closely is the lack of self-care. His relationships reflected the lack of deep intimate love, choosing unaligned partners, and hiding his deep insecurities. His journey to wholeness started with heartbreak. Psychotherapy helped him uncover and heal the deep wounds of his childhood. He has participated, trained, and been certified in various modalities such as Psychodrama (group dynamics), Deep Cellular transformation, Tantra (sacred sexuality), Inner child and shadow work, Breathwork, Leadership Development, and Integration.  Follow Marc on Socials:Facebook: https://...
