  • Season 1 Reflection
    Dec 27 2020

Join in on a reflection of  the season that was, I really relished this podcast on so many levels. I found it healing to be able to get right into the act of service and giving back to the community.

I am joined by the two brothers that helped me kick start this journey Jamie Thomas (Episode 4 - Man in the arena) & Jack Bulman (Episode 6- Creating safe space) this was a great opportunity to hear their thoughts on the season, the key moments for them & also some thoughts on the year that was 2020.

An awesome way to cap off the season and put the cherry on top.

Remember to stay humble, look after each other & remember that today is the first day for the rest of your life! See ya soon, peace out!

  • Taking stock in the process
    Dec 18 2020

My final solo podcast for the season, I take you into a raw and relevant teaching from another brother that I had to take on recently. The value of taking stock in the process pretty much speaks for itself, if we can just sit in an uncomfortable space even for just a short while we will grow, learn and be better people for it.

I also take a check back at some of the highlights for the season and what was prominent, hold on and enjoy sitting and taking stock in the process!

  • Jeff Hardy - Honing in and valuing the response
    Dec 11 2020

Jeff Hardy is a man who just keeps on giving, a former NRL player with a stellar and lengthy career. But it doesn't stop there for Jeff he has continued his strong application to his purpose into coaching and now mentoring young Indigenous boys through the Clontarf Foundation.

Through guiding young fallas through the journey of life, encouraging them to get educated in both worlds and pursue their love of sport and fitness Jeff has helped establish a formula that works.

Connection to culture is no doubt a key feature in his approach to learning, listen in for his words around turning up, doing the work and always focusing on your ‘response’! Through the good, the bad and the ugly one thing we can control in the ups and downs of life is our response.

A yarn to savor, enjoy this one!

  • Patience, Tolerance & Respect
    Dec 4 2020

PTR- Patience, Tolerance & Respect, the value system I have embraced to move forward in life. To achieve, to grow and be a better version of myself. Accountability, vulnerability & reflection of our own behaviours is an important facet of self healing, remembering that those around us will also benefit from the work we do on ourselves.

As a whole people have not had all the knowledge, guidance and nurturing to lean into this kind of awareness however in this time now we all have the opportunity. We can make the small steps to encourage and make the change as a community and society at large, if the world is going to be a better place than for me it all starts with learning how to embody Patience, Tolerance & Respect!

    Peace!

  • Charlie Jia - Keeping men accountable to good health
    Nov 27 2020

Charlie Jia is today's guest, a proud Indigenous man with a solid story of his own.

Speaking through the lens of his experience, Charlie found his way to nurturing men to good health and wellbeing through his own reality check. This is a powerful and really important message of ensuring we are all accountable for our own health status.

I thoroughly enjoyed holding space with this man, a champion of men’s health on many levels.

  • Interview with Rhett Burraston - Unpacking the 42.2km
    Nov 13 2020

Hold on for the ride as I bring Indigenous Marathon Project Graduate Rhett Burraston into the space. We both have just completed 42.2km runs in other words marathon runners.

This is an epic dialogue dedicated to the ‘life application’ to running, hear how the process was, the trials and tribulations and of course the incredible milestones of long distance running. There are so many learnings, metaphors and messages along this journey, the formula, commitment, time, energy and sheer tenacity it takes to get it done.

This one is a marathon in its own right to unearth and inspire others to take the long road to success and accomplishment.

  • Independence – Staying true to self
    Nov 7 2020

Today I unpack all the inward thinking, reflecting, processing & monologues that go on when we look towards self. Looking at our value systems and how we create a safe environment around us. From the people we connect with to the information we consume it's all a process.

I speak to what I have had to undertake by looking and observing my behaviour and actions, holding myself accountable to my purpose and what I am setting out to achieve. Patience, tolerance and respect to self, others and the environment we are a part of will help us stay on the line of self truth.

This episode is my accountability to some big milestones in my life I am building towards. Enjoy!
