    Darren Scott Ford (born October 1, 1985), nicknamed The Bullet, is an American former professional baseball center fielder. He is the grandson of Ted Ford, who played in the majors in the early 1970s. He played 33 games for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2010 and 2011, used most often as a pinch runner. So glad to have him on and talk his time in the minors to his cup of tea in the majors winning the World Series title in 2010. Basically as he said it’s a grind to play the sport and kudos to him for not giving up on his dream.     David Gregory Huff (born August 22, 1984) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Saraperos de Saltillo of the Mexican League. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Los Angeles Angels. Huff has also played for the LG Twins of the KBO League and for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Unfortunately wasn’t able to finish the podcast form because computer crashed but what I could get here was an awesome conversation with him on his playing days in the majors to his time overseas in the kbo to Mexican league. Man he even made me feel old by going over old times by going against players I grew up watching. Longest conversation I’ve had with a player or announcer. It was awesome hearing his stories of the Randy Johnson perfect to him helping Sammy Sosa swing. Please give this a listen.     Bradley Gray Maynard (born May 9, 1979) is an American mixed martial artist who competed in the Lightweight and Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Between 2008 and 2011, he competed in a noted rivalry with former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar.[6] Maynard competed in college wrestling at Michigan State University, and made his UFC debut in 2007. A veteran of 75 fights, he competed in various promotions including the UFC, Strikeforce, IFL, the World Series of Fighting, Titan FC, Shooto, and King of the Cage. He is also notable for being the only fighter other than George St. Pierre and B.J. Penn to defeat former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes twice. Very great conversation with him on his fights and their outcomes. Also talked about his 2 fights against Matt Hughes becoming the other fighter besides GSP to beat him twice. He is the play-by-play announcer for Philadelphia Phillies television broadcasts and also calls National Football League games for Westwood One. He calls select NFL, NBA and college basketball games on CBS beginning in 2014. McCarthy previously served as the play-by-play voice of Saint Joseph's University men's and women's basketball teams. Very grateful to have my 2nd ever broadcaster on the pod. We talked about the Phillies of last year to what they need to do in this year free agency. We also talked how exciting it was to have his son follow in his footsteps as he is the teams AAA manager and does games for Saint Joseph. Plus more talk of teams and his most memorable calls while with the Phillies.
