    Psalm 133:1

    Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

    Romans 14:7

    For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.

    By our unconscious influence others may be encouraged and strengthened, or they may be discouraged, and repelled from Christ and the truth. – {Steps to Christ p. 120.1}

    Ezra 10:15-16

    Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahaziah the son of Tikvah were employed about this matter: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them. 16And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.

    Proverbs 11:14

    Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

    WE ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST THERE IS NO NEED TO COMPETE! BODY PARTS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THE WHOLE BODY‼️ THEY ARE TEAM PLAYERS 🤝

    1 Corinthians 12:14-20

    For the body is not one member, but many. 15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him. 19And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20But now are they many members, yet but one body.

    Romans 12:25-27

    That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27Now you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬

    “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”‬

    No matter how high the profession, he whose heart is not filled with love for God and his fellow men is not a true disciple of Christ. Though he should possess great faith and have power even to work miracles, yet without love his faith would be worthless. He might display great liberality; but should he, from some other motive than genuine love, bestow all his goods to feed the poor, the act would not commend him to the favor of God. In his zeal he might even meet a martyr’s death, yet if not actuated by love, he would be regarded by God as a deluded enthusiast or an ambitious hypocrite. – {AA 318.2}

    1 John 4:19-20

    We love him, because he first loved us. 20If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

    Ezra: The Team Builder 🤝 (Part 1)

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

    Psalm 133:1

    Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

    It is the will of God that union and brotherly love should exist among His people. The prayer of Christ just before His crucifixion was that His disciples might be one as He is one with the Father, that the world might believe that God had sent Him. This most touching and wonderful prayer reaches down the ages, even to our day; for His words were, “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word.” John 17:20. While we are not to sacrifice one principle of truth, it should be our constant aim to reach this state of unity. This is the evidence of our discipleship. Said Jesus, “By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35. – {Patriarch and Prophets p. 520.3}

    EZRA THE TEAM BUILDER, NOTICED BY THE RIVER THAT THE TEAM WAS INCOMPLETE FOR THE LEVITES WERE MISSING. HE DELAYED THE JOURNEY BACK HOME UNTIL THEY CAME ON BOARD.

    Ezra 8:15-20

    And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi. 16Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding. 17And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God. 18And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen; 19And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty; 20Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.

    The secret of our success in the work of God will be found in the harmonious working of our people. There must be concentrated action. Every member of the body of Christ must act his part in the cause of God, according to the ability that God has given him. We must press together against obstructions and difficulties, shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart. – {Christian Service p. 75.1}

    Mark 3:24-25

    And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

    John 17:21

    That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

    Ezra: Weeping and Mourning for Erring Ones 😢 (Part 2)

    PEOPLE WILL BE CONVERTED WHEN WE WEEP AND PRAY FOR THEM NOT WHEN WE CRITICIZE AND TEAR THEM DOWN BECAUSE OF THEIR ERRORS

    Ezra 10:1

    Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.

    Galatians 6:1-2

    Brothers, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted. 2Bear you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

    Psalm 103:10

    He has not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

    If the Lord should treat us as some who claim to be Christians treat one another, we should have a sore, hard time. If He should look upon the selfish, or crooked ones as they look upon one another and deal with one another, what would become of us? But I am glad the Lord is not man. – {That I May Know Him p. 332.3}

    Hebrews 5:7-9

    Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him

    Luke 22:31-32

    And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

    THERE IS A SONG BY JOEL HEMPHILL WHO WAS A SON OF A PASTOR WHO BECAME A PASTOR AND GOSPEL SINGER ENTITLED “HE IS STILL WORKING ON ME” SANCTIFICATION IS A WORK OF A LIFE TIME EVEN FOR PASTORS

    He's still working on me

    To make me what I need to be

    It took him just a week to make the moon and stars

    The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars

    How loving and patient He must be

    'Cause He's still workin' on me

    There really ought to be a sign upon my heart

    Don't judge him yet, there's an unfinished part

    But I'll be better just according to His plan

    Fashioned by the Master's loving hands

    He's still working on me

    To make me what I need to be

    It took him just a week to make the moon and stars

    The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars

    How loving and patient He must be

    'Cause He's still workin' on me

    In the mirror of His word

    Reflections that I see

    Makes me wonder why He never gave up on me

    But He loves me as I am and helps me when I pray

    Remember He's the potter, I'm the clay

    Ephesians 2:8-10

    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    John 3:16-17

    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

    John 8:10-11

    When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

    Micah 7:7-8

    Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8¶Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

    Hebrews 7:25

    Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
