God Heals ❤️‍🩹 our Heartaches and Pain: Tears of Hagar and Her Son 😢🥲

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

    Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬

“They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.”

    ‭‭‬

HAGAR BECAME A SINGLE PARENT THROUGH ABUSE AT WORK BY THE BOSS AND HIS WIFE AND THEN WAS FIRED‼️BUT GOD KEPT HIS EYE ON THE SINGLE PARENT AND HER CHILD

    Genesis‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan. So he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress became despised in her eyes.”‭‭

    Genesis‬ ‭21‬:‭9‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, scoffing. Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.” And the matter was very displeasing in Abraham’s sight because of his son. But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.”

    Genesis 21:14-20

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer–sheba. 15And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. 16And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. 17And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. 18Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. 19And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. 20And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD HE SEES YOUR TEARS

    1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

    Psalm 56:3-5

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. 4In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. 5Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

    Psalm 56:8-11

Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?9When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me. 10In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise hisword. 11In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

    Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭GNT‬

“Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.” Let us be bold, then, and say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”

    Matthew 11:28

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

The Greatest Solace in my Grief ❤️‍🩹

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

THE GREATEST SOLACE DURING TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS IS TO KNOW THAT CHRIST PRAYED FOR ME AND IS STILL PRAYING FOR ME.

    Luke 22:31-32

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

    John 17:9-11

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

    John 17:15-20

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word

OH WHAT MANNER OF LOVE ❤️ IS THIS, JESUS PRAYED FOR MY SALVATION UNTIL HIS BLOOD VESSELS RAPTURED

    Hebrews 12:3-4

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

    Luke 22:41-44

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

THE RISEN SAVIOR IS PRAYING FOR ME‼️

    1 John 2:1-2

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

    Romans 8:34

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

    Hebrews 8:1-2

Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

STEPHEN IN HIS TRIBULATION WAS SUSTAINED BY THE THOUGHT OF A RISEN SAVIOR PRAYING FOR HIM

    Acts 7:56

And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

    Hebrews 7:25

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

    Psalm 37:37

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

WHEN JOSEPH’S BROTHERS SOLD HIM THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD SHUTTERED HIS DREAMS NOT KNOWING THEY WERE EXPEDITING THEIR FULFILLMENT‼️ NO POWER ON EARTH CAN HINDER YOUR DREAMS IF GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE.

    Luke 1:37

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

    Jeremiah 32:17

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee

    Acts 7:9-10

And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, 10And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

JOSEPH HAD A SURPRISE ENDING: FROM A DUNGEON TO OFFICE. ALL GOD’S CHILDREN AWAIT THEIR FINAL SURPRISE ENDING WHEN SAINTS DESPISED AND PERSECUTED WILL REIGN WITH GOD ON HIS THRONE TO THE SURPRISE OF OUR ENEMIES AND THE DEVIL

    Micah 7:7-8

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8¶Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

    Revelation 20:4

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

    1 Corinthians 6:2-3

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

    Daniel 2:44

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

    Daniel 7:21-22

I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

    Daniel 7:27

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

    Psalm 50:4-5

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. 4He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. 5Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

    1 Corinthians 15:50-55

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality….

    Isaiah 25:8-9

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. 9¶And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

    Revelation 22:20-21

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

    Psalm 37:4-5

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

JOSEPH NEVER NUDGED HIMSELF INTO POSITIONS NOR USED OTHERS TO DO SO, HE WAITED ON GOD. MANY PEOPLE GET INTO POSITIONS NOT ON MERIT BUT BECAUSE OF FRIENDS OR RELATIVES. THE INDUSTRIOUS JOSEPH WAS EXTRUDED INTO A HIGH POSITION BY GOD. HIS HARD WORK IN UNFAVORABLE CONDITIONS WAS REMEMBERED BY GOD. LET GOD ORCHESTRATE YOUR REMEMBRANCE AND PROMOTION‼️

    Proverbs 22:29

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

    Ecclesiastes 9:10

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

    Colossians 3:22-24

Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: 23And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

    Genesis 41:9-12

Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day: 10Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker: 11And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream. 12And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

    Genesis 41:14

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

THE BEST LEADERS ARE MANUFACTURED IN LIFE’S MERCILESS CRUCIBLES 🥵

    Men of power are those who have been opposed, baffled, and thwarted. By calling their energies into action, the obstacles they meet prove to them positive blessings. They gain self-reliance. Conflict and perplexity call for the exercise of trust in God and for that firmness which develops power. – {Ministry of Healing p. 500.3}

    Psalm 105:17-22

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18Whose feet they hurt with fetters:

    Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭‬

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”‬

    Psalm 113:5-8

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, 6Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! 7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 8That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

    Psalm 75:6-7

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

    Let those who feel that their work is not appreciated, and who crave a position of greater responsibility, consider that “promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.” Psalm 75:6, 7. Every man has his place in the eternal plan of heaven. Whether we fill that place depends upon our own faithfulness in co-operating with God. – {Ministry of Healing p. 476.1}

    Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NIV‬

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Divine Solace in life’s Crucibles:🔥Joseph, The Forgotten Kind Man

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

DO NOT DO YOUR KIND DEEDS TO BE REMEMBERED BY MAN! YOU WILL BE DESPERATELY DISAPPOINTED. HUMANS FORGET‼️

    Ecclesiastes 9:14-15

There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: 15Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.

    Genesis 40:2-8

And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. 3And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. 4And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward. 5¶And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison. 6And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. 7And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day? 8And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

    Genesis 40:12-15

And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days: 13Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. 14But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: 15For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

    Genesis‬ ‭40‬:‭20‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬

“Now it came to pass on the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand. But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them. Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.”

IF YOU TRUST IN HUMAN BEINGS THEY WILL FAIL YOU ONE DAY. ONLY GOD IS WORTH OUR TRUST.

    Jeremiah 17:5-8

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

    Job 19:14

My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.

    Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭10

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

    Isaiah 49:15

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

    Isaiah 26:3-4

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength

    Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”

    Man can shape circumstances, but circumstances should not be allowed to shape the man. We should seize upon circumstances as instruments by which to work. We are to master them, but should not permit them to master us. – {Ministry of Healing p. 500.2}

WHILE NOTHING SHOULD DETER US FROM BEING CHEERFUL IN ANY OF OUR CIRCUMSTANCES WE SHOULD GO BEYOND THAT AND CHEER OTHERS IN SIMILAR OR WORSE AFFLICTIONS.

    Genesis 40:6-8

And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

JOSEPH WAS A SON OF ENCOURAGEMENT LIKE BARNABAS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

    Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭36‬-‭37‬

“And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF SON’S AND DAUGHTERS OF ENCOURAGEMENT IS DESCRIBED IN THE LIFE OF BARNABAS AS BEING A GOOD MAN, FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND FAITH.

    Acts 11:22-26

Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. 23Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. 24For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. 25Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: 26And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

SPIRITUAL CHEERLEADERS DO NOT ALLOW THE DEVIL TO STEAL THEIR SONGS OF JOY AND THEY USE THEIR TONGUES GRACEFULLY TO CHEER OTHERS.

    Job 35:9-11

By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. 10But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; 11Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

    Acts 16:22-25

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. 23And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. 25¶And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

    Habakkuk 3:17-18

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

    Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE ANY MONEY TO CHEER YOURSELF OR OTHERS JOSEPH WHILE IN PRISON DID NOT HAVE ANY MONEY BUT HE HAD PLEASANT WORDS TO GIVE.

Divine Solace in life’s Crucibles:🔥Joseph, the incombustible ingredient in life!

    Isaiah 43:2

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

IN JOSEPH’S DARKEST CHAPTER OF LIFE, WE ARE CONSTANTLY REMINDED THAT GOD WAS WITH HIM IN THE HOT 🥵 CRUCIBLE.

    Genesis 39:2

And, THE LORD WAS WITH JOSEPH* and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

    Genesis 39:3

And his master saw that THE LORD WAS WITH HIM,* and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

    Genesis 39:20-21

And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. 21¶THE LORD WAS WITH JOSEPH,* and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

    Genesis 39:23

The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because THE LORD WAS WITH HIM,* and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

    Genesis 49:22-24

Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: 23The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: 24But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

    Acts 7:9-10

And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: BUT GOD WAS WITH HIM,* 10And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

DON’T MISS THE INCOMBUSTIBLE INGREDIENT IN YOUR LIFE’S CRUCIBLES. NO FIRE CAN CONSUME WHERE GOD IS‼️ AS CONFIRMED BY THE THREE HEBREW BOYS

    Romans 8:31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

    Hebrews 13:5-6

Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never leave you or abandon you.” 6Hence we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”

    Daniel 3:24-27

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26¶Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

    SONG O God, Our Help

O God, our help in ages past,

our hope for years to come,

our shelter from the stormy blast,

    and our eternal home!

    2

Under the shadow of thy throne,

    still may we dwell secure;

    sufficient is thine arm alone,

    and our defense is sure.

    3

Before the hills in order stood,

    or earth received her frame,

    from everlasting, thou art God,

    to endless years the same.

    4

A thousand ages, in thy sight,

    are like an evening gone;

short as the watch that ends the night,

    before the rising sun.

be thou our guide while life shall last,

Divine Solace in life’s Crucibles:🔥Joseph, the Crucible of a Seductive Boss

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

    Proverbs 1:10

My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

    Genesis 39:7-12

And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

    1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭‬‬

“Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”

    Genesis 39:18-21

And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 18And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. 20And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. 21¶But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

GOD WILL NOT FORGET THOSE WHO SUFFER UNJUSTLY

    Psalm 105:17-19

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: 19Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

    Matthew 5:11-12

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

    1 Peter 4:14-16

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

    James 1:2-3

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

    James 5:10-11

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

    Revelation 2:10

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
