Unto us a Child is Born: GO TELL THE WORLD 🌍 ABOUT JESUS (Part 2)

THOSE THAT SAW HIM WHEN HE WAS BORN TOLD OTHERS ABOUT HIM

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

THE WISE MEN FROM THE EAST FILLED THE WHOLE OF JERUSALEM WITH THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST’S BIRTH EVEN BEFORE THEY SAW HIM. THEIR STORY ENTERED THE STATE HOUSE‼️ THEY WERE NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL.

    Psalm 119:46

I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

    Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

    Matthew 2:1-8 ISV

After Jesus had been born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, wise men from the east arrived in Jerusalem 2and asked, “Where is the one who was born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”

3When King Herod heard this he was troubled, and all the people of Jerusalem with him. 4He called together all the high priests and scribes of the people and asked them where the Christ was to be born. 5They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea. For that is what was written by the prophet:

6‘O Bethlehem in the land of Judah,

you are by no means least among the rulers of Judah.

For from you will come a ruler

who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

7Then Herod secretly called together the wise men and found out from them the time the star had appeared. 8Then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “As you go, search carefully for the child. When you find him, tell me so that I, too, may go and worship him.”

IS YOUR CITY, TOWN OR VILLAGE FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD’S LOVE ❤️ ⁉️ THE APOSTLES BEING VERY FEW IN NUMBER FILLED JERUSALEM WITH THE GOSPEL AND WERE CHARGED OF TURNING THE WORLD 🌍 UPSIDE DOWN. NO MANNER OF THREATENING COULD SHUT THEM UP.

    Acts 4:29-31

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. 31¶And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

    Acts 5:27-28

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

    Acts 17:6-7

And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also; 7Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Cæsar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.

    Acts 5:40-42

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41¶And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. 42And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

    Psalm 126:5-6

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

    Song Joy By And By

O there’ll be joy when the work is done,

Joy when the reapers gather home,

Bringing the sheaves at set of sun

    To the New Jerusalem.

    Refrain

Joy, joy, joy, there’ll be joy by and by,

    Joy, joy, joy, where the joys never die;

Joy, joy, joy, for the day draweth nigh

    When the workers gather home.

    2

Sweet are the songs that we hope to sing,

Grateful the thanks our hearts shall bring,

    Praising forever Christ our King

    In the New Jerusalem.

THOSE THAT SAW HIM WHEN HE WAS BORN TOLD OTHERS ABOUT HIM

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

    Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“They hurried to the village and found Mary and Joseph. And there was the baby, lying in the manger. After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child. All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished,”

THE WORLD IS DYING TO HEAR THE STORY OF JESUS‼️WILL YOU HURRY TO SHARE THE GOOD NEWS? THE CRY FOR THE STORY OF JESUS IS WELL ARTICULATED BY THE HYMNAL WRITER FANNY CROSBY A BLIND GIRL WHO COULD SEE JESUS VIVIDLY IN HER BLINDNESS.

Tell me the story of Jesus,

Write on my heart every word.

Tell me the story most precious,

    Sweetest that ever was heard.

Tell how the angels in chorus,

Sang as they welcomed His birth.

“Glory to God in the highest!

Peace and good tidings to earth.”

    Refrain

Tell me the story of Jesus,

Write on my heart every word.

Tell me the story most precious,

    Sweetest that ever was heard.

    2

    Fasting alone in the desert,

Tell of the days that are past.

How for our sins He was tempted,

    Yet was triumphant at last.

Tell of the years of His labor,

Tell of the sorrow He bore.

    He was despised and afflicted,

    Homeless, rejected and poor.

    3

Tell of the cross where they nailed Him,

    Writhing in anguish and pain.

Tell of the grave where they laid Him,

    Tell how He liveth again.

Love in that story so tender,

    Clearer than ever I see.

Stay, let me weep while you whisper,

Love paid the ransom for me.

    ‭‭

    Romans 10:13-15

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

    John 20:21

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

    Revelation 14:6-7

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Unto us a Child is Born: I ACCEPT HEAVEN’S GIFT OF LOVE ❤️ WRAPPED IN THE GARB Of HUMANITY

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

    Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    John 1:1-2

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

    John 1:14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

    2 Corinthians 8:9

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

    Luke 2:7

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

    Matthew 8:20

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

    Philippians 2:5-11

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Acts 4:10-12

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

    John 3:16-19

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18¶He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

    Romans 8:1-6

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

    Acts 16:30-31

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

    Hebrews 2:3

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him

    Luke 19:10

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

    Matthew 1:21

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

SALVATION IS A HEART ❤️ ISSUE AND NOT A MONEY 💰 ISSUE. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO FOOL THEMSELVES THAT THEY CAN GIVE A LOT OF MONEY TO CHARITY AND TO THEIR CHURCHES THEN GOD, THEY SUPPOSE, WILL WINK AT THEIR SINS! THE ONLY REMEDY FOR SIN IS THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, NOT SILVER NOR GOLD.

    1 Peter 1:18-19

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot

    Micah 6:6-8

Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? 7Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

    Proverbs 23:26

My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

    Jeremiah 17:9-10

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

    Matthew‬ ‭15‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬

“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.”

    Matthew 23:25-26

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

    ‭‭‬

    Ezekiel 36:24-27

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

    Psalm 51:5-10

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

    1 John 1:7-9

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

    Deuteronomy 29:29

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

THE BIBLE IS COMPLETELY SILENT ON THE EXACT DAY OF CHRIST’S BIRTH. HOWEVER, IT IS RESOUNDINGLY STATED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT THAT CHRIST WAS TO BE BORN ON EARTH TO SAVE SINNERS. THE NEW TESTAMENT RECORD AFFIRMS THAT THE PROMISED SAVIOR WAS BORN IN BETHLEHEM IN FULFILLMENT OF THE OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECY ABOUT HIS BIRTH AND MISSION. WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL IN SEEKING TO REFUTE CERTAIN DATES CLAIMED BY SOME TO BE THE BIRTHDAYS OF JESUS THAT WE END UP KNOWING MORE ABOUT PAGAN DEITIES AND FESTIVALS THAN WE KNOW ABOUT WHY CHRIST WAS BORN.

More about Jesus I would know,

    More of His grace to others show;

More of His saving fullness see,

    Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”

    Micah‬ ‭5‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

    Matthew‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬

“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ”

    ‭‭‬

    Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

    The twenty-fifth of December is supposed to be the day of the birth of Jesus Christ, and its observance has become customary and popular. But yet there is no certainty that we are keeping the veritable day of our Saviour’s birth. History gives us no certain assurance of this. The Bible does not give us the precise time... – {Adventist Home p. 477.2}

    As the twenty-fifth of December is observed to commemorate the birth of Christ, as the children have been instructed by precept and example that this was indeed a day of gladness and rejoicing, you will find it a difficult matter to pass over this period without giving it some attention. It can be made to serve a very good purpose. – {Adventist Home p. 478.1}

    The youth should be treated very carefully. They should not be left on Christmas to find their own amusement in vanity and pleasure seeking, in amusements which will be detrimental to their spirituality. Parents can control this matter by turning the minds and the offerings of their children to God and His cause and the salvation of souls. – {Adventist Home p. 478.2}

    Isaiah 7:14

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

    Matthew 1:21-23

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    Psalm 34:18

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

THE GENUINENESS OF DAVID’S TEARS AND REPENTANCE IS PORTRAYED IN PSALM 51

    Psalm 51:1-17

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

GOD IS NOT THERE TO CRUSH SINNERS BUT TO SAVE THEM‼️

    Luke 19:10

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

    Psalm 103:8-14

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. 13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. 14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

    Whoever under the reproof of God will humble the soul with confession and repentance, as did David, may be sure that there is hope for him. Whoever will in faith accept God’s promises, will find pardon. The Lord will never cast away one truly repentant soul. He has given this promise: “Let him take hold of My strength, that he may make peace with Me; and he shall make peace with Me.” Isaiah 27:5. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:7. – {Patriarchs and Prophets p. 726.5}

    Isaiah 1:18

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

    John 8:10-11

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

    John 3:16-19

    Isaiah 2:5

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

    2 Samuel 12:13

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

THE REPENTANT KING WHO HAD COMMITTED ADULTERY AND MURDERED URIAH, ACKNOWLEDGES HIS SIN IN TEARS AND IS FORGIVEN BY OUR MERCIFUL GOD.

    Psalm 38:18

For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

    David’s repentance was sincere and deep. There was no effort to palliate his crime. No desire to escape the judgments threatened, inspired his prayer. But he saw the enormity of his transgression against God; he saw the defilement of his soul; he loathed his sin. It was not for pardon only that he prayed, but for purity of heart. David did not in despair give over the struggle. In the promises of God to repentant sinners he saw the evidence of his pardon and acceptance. – {Patriarchs and Prophets p. 725.2}

    Psalm 32:1-5

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. 3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. 4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. 5I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah

    1 John 2:1-2

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

    Psalm 34:18

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

    Psalm 130:3-4

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? 4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS NOT A LICENSE FOR US TO CONTINUALLY PLAY IN THE MAD OF SIN

    Psalm 40:2-3

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

    Romans 6:1-2

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

    Psalm 85:7-8

Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. 8I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

    Hebrews 10:38-39

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

    2 Samuel 11:1-5

And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. 3And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bath–sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? 4And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house. 5And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah. 15And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die. 16And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were. 17And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.

DAVID’S PLAN TO HIDE HIS SIN THROUGH MURDER FLOPPED BECAUSE YOU CANNOT HIDE ANYTHING FROM GOD.

    Hebrews 4:13

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

    Proverbs 15:3

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

    2 Samuel 12:7–10

And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul; 8And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things. 9Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. 10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

WHEN CONFRONTED WITH HIS SIN BY THE PROPHET, DAVID DID NOT TRY TO EXCUSE HIS SIN. HE IMMEDIATELY ACKNOWLEDGED IT!

    2 Samuel 12:13

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

    Micah 7:18-19

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
