    John 6:67-68

    Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.


    The people of God are directed to the Scriptures as their safeguard against the influence of false teachers and the delusive power of spirits of darkness… The last great delusion is soon to open before us. Antichrist is to perform his marvelous works in our sight. So closely will the counterfeit resemble the true that it will be impossible to distinguish between them except by the Holy Scriptures. By their testimony every statement and every miracle must be tested. – {Great Controversy p. 593.1}


    1 John 4:3-4

    And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

THE BOOK REVELATION ALSO CALLS THE ANTICHRIST THE BEAST WHO WILL DEMAND WORSHIP AND WILL PERSECUTE THOSE WHO WILL REFUSE TO WORSHIP A HUMAN BEING AS GOD. Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Revelation 13:2-4 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? READ Revelation 14:6-7 Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb OUR ONLY SAFETY IS IN KEEPING GOD’S COMMANDMENTS Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
