Today I find myself in conversation with Scott Armstrong. Once a commercial banker in the fast-paced financial hubs of the 1980s, Scott found his daily routine entrenched in the gritty details of loan approvals and financial negotiations. Stationed in Toronto, he was the go-to person for local businesses seeking financial support. Over time, Scott realized his enthusiasm wasn't ignited by numbers and contracts but by the passionate business owners he met. This realization sparked a desire for change.

Seeking clarity and a fresh perspective, Scott traded his office in Toronto for the snowy slopes of Whistler, where he spent a season skiing and contemplating his next move. It was amidst this scenic retreat that an idea struck him--to move to the exotic landscapes of Hawaii, a stark contrast to the bustling city life he was accustomed to.
