  • This week our guest is author Melody LeBaron who wrote “Transforming Death: Creating Sacred Space.” She brings a distinct background and describes how the intersection of privilege, patriarchy, and colonialism intersect with her spirituality and activism in today's world. The unique part is the intersection of the grief work that she has done on end of life, and the way that we experience that grief in our bodies, both individually and communally, in our societal constructs, constructs whether that's patriarchy or colonialism, or racism or religion. And we talk about all of those things, and the intersection and the evolution of a life through all of that, and how that makes us uniquely equipped today to make a difference in advancing racial equity in our lifetime. Melody specializes in helping white women feel motivated to explore their own consciousness and release. Old conditioning.
