Donald Trump, Jr. interviewed Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance on his podcast late last week, but it wasn't the content of the interview that got the internet buzzing - it was the fact that Junior appeared to be on speed. Junior couldn't control his words and was speaking a mile a minute while Vance just sheepishly sat there feeling exceptionally uncomfortable. Rumors are now flying online about what Junior could have been on to behave that way.

And in a filing to Judge Juan Merchan that was made public late last week, prosecutors in New York warn the judge against tossing out the felony convictions of Donald Trump. The issue, obviously, is the Supreme Court's immunity ruling from early July, but prosecutors make a strong case that the ruling in no way applies to this trial or the convictions that have already been secured. The judge will make his final determination on whether to scrap the entire case in early September.

And Donald Trump had an absolute meltdown on Truth Social after FBI Director Christopher Wray said that he wasn't sure if it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit Trump during his rally. Trump claimed that it was a bullet that hit him "hard," and then proceeded to attack both Wray and the entire FBI. But people are asking more and more questions about what happened, and Trump's refusal to release his medical records are only fueling the speculation.

Finally, the past week has not been good for Donald Trump, and insiders are now saying that he is in a "sour mood" due to multiple reasons - but nearly all the reasons revolve around Kamala Harris as his new opponent. Trump is reportedly furious about the fact that her response team is so good at their jobs, and he's angry that she's getting so much media attention. He's also not happy with his own running mate, but he's mostly upset about Harris, which is seen in his late night and early morning rage posts on social media.

Donald Trump, a convicted felon that was found guilty on 34 counts just a few months ago, said during a rally this week that Kamala Harris shouldn't be "allowed" to be president because she is "committing crimes." If Trump believes that committing crimes is a deal breaker, then he should immediately drop out of the race because he's the only major Party candidate with a criminal record.

Also, during an absolutely unhinged segment on Fox News this week, Ted Cruz accused Kamala Harris of trying to take away his car, his foods, and even his gas stove. None of this is true, obviously, but Cruz needed some way to back up his point that Kamala is a member of the "radical left," and since facts didn't fit in he just decided to make stuff up. This is how Republicans run their campaigns - they just lie and hope people are dumb enough to believe them.

And Donald Trump simply cannot stop himself from saying the dumbest things possible. During a rally this week, Trump actually suggested that he would like to have football coaches and NASCAR "coaches" advising the military because, as Trump put it, those guys are really smart at strategy. I'm sure that football coaches wouldn't be as successful with calling plays if the defense had tanks and bombs to fire at the quarterback. But this is the level of stupid that we're dealing with if Trump gets back into office.

Finally, a new nationwide poll has found that Kamala Harris is pulling away 5% of the voters who had previously said they would be voting for Donald Trump. Trump is losing a great deal of support, even if he retains a slight edge in the national polls. The Harris campaign is off to a phenomenal start while Trump's campaign is struggling to control the damage being caused by J.D. Vance.

Donald Trump found out the hard way this week that there are some areas where his cult followers won't fall in line. Trump put out a post on social media offering condolences to a Michigan police officer that was killed in the line of duty. But because the officer's name was "Mohamed", Trump's followers turned against him in the most racist and vile way possible, with some even saying that he's lost their vote.

Also, everyone has been wondering who paid for Rudy Giuliani's first class plane tickets to attend last week's RNC, but MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell finally ended the conversation this week by admitting that he paid the bill. But that wasn't the shocking part. Lindell also admitted that Giuliani has been an employee with his media company since the beginning of the month, which means that the creditors from Giuliani's bankruptcy case were CORRECT when they made accusations that he wasn't being honest about his finances and employment.

And Donald Trump is reportedly having buyer's remorse over his pick of J.D. Vance as his running mate, and it isn't hard to see why. According to the latest polling data, Vance is the first Vice Presidential nominee for ANY party to have a net negative approval rating after being announced as a running mate since 1980 (before Vance was even born.) On top of that, he can't seem to stop himself from saying stupid things and from having his past comments come back to haunt him. Trump really stepped in it this time.

Finally, things are going from bad to worse for Donald Trump, as the newest polling after Biden dropped out of the race shows him LOSING to Kamala Harris by two points. That gap grows even bigger when Kennedy is in the race, increasing Harris's lead to 4 points. The enthusiasm on the Left has increased tremendously - along with fundraising - and Trump doesn't know what to do with himself now that he doesn't have a pushover on the other side of the political aisle.
