Following his "annexation" of Venezuela over the weekend, Donald Trump told reporter Michael Scherer of The Atlantic over the weekend that Greenland is likely going to be the next target. Trump specifically told Schere that "we need it" when discussing his long-held desire to annex the territory. Trump continues to push the narrative that Greenland is essential for national security and military purposes, but that ignores the fact that the US already has a military presence there and has for years.

The Trump administration has announced that they are employing the "Trump Corollary" or "Donroe Doctrine" to the longstanding Monroe Doctrine from the 1800's. This unofficial policy is what Trump is using to go in and overthrow the governments of South and Latin American countries as he pleases, and is a continuation of the "Roosevelt Corollary" to the original Monroe Doctrine. The man is so desperate to cement his legacy that he's named the worst foreign policy move in decades after himself just so people remember him.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell's campaign for governor in Minnesota is already off to a crazy start. He decided to kick things off late last week by going on Steve Bannon's podcast to talk about his platform, which consists of just putting all Democrats in jail and, of course, getting rid of all the voting machines that he can find. But it was the way that this lunatic delivered his platform that ended up making him come across as an escaped mental patient.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has always been one of the biggest war hawks in Washington, and now that he knows that Donald Trump is willing to just bomb other countries and depose their leaders, he has a wishlist of countries that he'd like to see targeted next. The first one on his list is China, followed by Russia, North Korea, and Iran. The man would gladly start World War III just for the fun of it, and he's hoping that Trump will grant his perverted wish.

While most of MAGA seems delighted that Donald Trump has overthrown a foreign government without provocation, there are still plenty in the movement that feel betrayed that he's started another conflict (and that he's bombed 8 separate countries in his first year in office.) They are also angry that he's ignoring Americans, in spite of his "America First" pledge throughout all of his campaigns. In other words, they are shocked to learn that everything this man has ever said to them was a lie.

In a truly bizarre appearance on Fox News recently, Kelly Loeffler, the head of the Small Business Administration, proudly proclaimed that Donald Trump will NOT ever pardon a criminal. She said this in reference to the alleged child care scam that happened in Minnesota, but that statement doesn't even apply to that situation. Furthermore, her comment is completely detached from reality, as Trump has pardoned closer to 2,000 criminals in his first year in office.

A bombshell new report claims that Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida sent women to Jeffrey Epstein's home for years, allegedly to give him massages. The women that were sent to Epstein's home warned others about his dangerous behavior, so if this story is accurate, that means there's little to no chance that Mar-a-Lago didn't know exactly what was going on.

This week, Donald Trump vetoed a bipartisan bill that would have created a pipeline to deliver clean drinking water to more than 50,000 Colorado residents. This didn't sit well with longtime Trump ally Lauren Boebert - a representative from Colorado - and she tore into the President, accusing him of vetoing the pipeline out of anger over her insistence on releasing the Epstein Files. There are a couple other reasons this likely happened, but Boebert's vote on the files certainly played a role.

During a segment on Newsmax this week, Kari Lake demanded that the Department of Justice go after Donald Trump's political enemies - as if they haven't been trying, and failing, at doing that for the past year. Lake went totally off the rails in the segment, reminding everyone that she might be the most mentally unstable member of the Trump administration, even though she remains one of the most irrelevant members of the administration.

MAGA fanatics who forked out $500 for a tacky "Trump Phone" nearly a year ago are going to have to wait even longer for their garbage to arrive, as the Trump Organization announced that the phones were being delayed AGAIN. This isn't the first time that the company has failed to deliver at their promised deadline, as they have pushed back the release multiple times in just the last few months. There's a chance the phones never arrive at all, and MAGA will just have to come to terms with the fact that they keep falling for such obvious swindles.

Republican lawmakers know that 2026 is probably going to be a very bad year for them, and they have just one request of Donald Trump: Don't make it worse! Unfortunately, Trump isn't capable of doing that, and Republicans in Congress have now lost faith with Trump because they view him as far too "out of touch." It isn't just that he can't or won't work on economic issues, it is that he won't stop the stupid vanity projects that are angering the public while going out on tour and bragging about how great he is.

The Democratic Party ended 2025 with another massive victory in an area of the country that they typically can't win in. This particular win happened in an election in Iowa, where Democrat Renee Hardman pulled off a stunning victory to prevent Republicans in the state from having a supermajority in the Senate. This is more proof that the Trump Effect is real, and voters are turning against Trump and the Republican Party in ways we couldn't have expected a year ago.

Donald Trump's physical and mental health are both deteriorating at a rapid pace, and we've seen signs of his cognitive decline through his unhinged rantings that no longer seem to have a filter. But therein lies the problem - He's not just more unfiltered with what he says, but also with the actions that he's taking. As his health continues to decline, we're seeing him take more dramatic actions to radically reshape the country in his image (literally.)

Hundreds of victims of 2024's Hurricane Helene in North Carolina have been waiting for over a year to hear a word back from FEMA after applying for their hazard mitigation grant program that offers disaster victims the full pre-disaster value of their homes that were destroyed. And in spite of North Carolina sending more than 800 requests to FEMA 13 months ago, they haven't heard a word and not a single person's request has been approved. This all comes down on Kristi Noem and Donald Trump, who promised to "slash through every bureaucratic barrier" to make these peoples' lives whole again earlier this year.

During a press conference earlier this week, Donald Trump said that he's considering suing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell for "incompetence." While that's not actually something that Trump can do, his threat alone is enough to send the economy into a tailspin - which could be catastrophic if Trump actually attempts to file such a lawsuit. Economists, bankers, and others on Wall Street have been warning for months that Trump's attacks on the Fed's independence threaten the entire economy, and now those fears could become reality.

Republican Representative Mike Johnson has been Speaker of the House for a little over two years, and Republicans in the House are beyond ready for him to be out of a job. Johnson has drawn the wrath of his fellow Republican lawmakers, who recently spoke about his many problems to The Atlantic, for being a "weak" and spineless leader who acts more like an extension of Donald Trump. The situation is so bad that some Republicans admit that they would much rather have Nancy Pelosi as Speaker because at least she was a competent leader.

There are almost countless things from Donald Trump's first year back in office that Democrats need to investigate if they retake the House, and one of the most overlooked items is the "pardon mill" that his administration is running. New reports have confirmed that lobbyists are being paid and offered as much as $6 million from people who are seeking pardons, and the administration seems more than willing to listen to what the lobbyists have to say. Could there be some highly illegal kickbacks involved in all of this?

Photos emerged over the weekend showing visibly bruising and bandages on BOTH of Donald Trump's hands, with one photo showing a puncture mark, likely from a needle, in the center of one of the bruises. This has completely destroyed the administration's talking point that these injuries are from shaking hands, and MAGA is losing their minds trying to defend Trump's visible decay. MAGA lunatics took to social media to downplay the new evidence, but no one was buying their garbage.

Harmeet Dhillon, Donald Trump's assistant Attorney General for the DOJ's civil rights division, went on an unhinged and profane tirade against MAGA influencers for criticizing the Trump administration. Dhillon seems to have completely lost her mind over the fact that the people who blindly supported Trump for years are not as willing to do so now, so she used a derogatory slur to attack all of them. This didn't sit well with the people she insulted, and is probably going to have the opposite effect of what she intended.

A proposed piece of legislation in California would impose a moderate wealth tax on billionaires in the state, forcing them to pay 5% on their net worth over $1 billion. In other words, this is a tax on excessive wealth that billionaires can easily afford. But the tech executives in California are freaking out over it, and they've banded together and are openly plotting ways to remove powerful California Democrats like Ro Khanna. They are going to spend more money trying to buy elections than they would in taxes.

Overseeing record numbers of job losses is never something that a President wants to do, but Donald Trump actually seems to be enjoying it. He got on social media recently to BRAG about the record number of government jobs that he has cut since taking office, even though those job losses have helped exacerbate a growing problem of rising unemployment across the country. Republicans have zero empathy for the people whose lives are being ruined by these cuts, and that only makes the problem worse.

According to multiple new polls, both domestic and international, Donald Trump is viewed by a majority of Americans and our closest allies as being weak, crazy, and a destabilizing force around the globe. These are not exactly the qualities that anyone - here or abroad - wants to see in the President of the United States, but that's where we are after nearly a year of having Trump back in office. The chances of things getting better are slim to none, so we can expect these already horrific numbers to fall even lower in the future.

Donald Trump claims that filing for bankruptcy for his own personal businesses was a smart move (just like when he admitted not paying taxes,) but his penchant for causing bankruptcies is no longer limited to his own companies. Thanks to his trade war, bankruptcies for American businesses have now hit their highest levels in 15 years, putting us back at the levels we saw during the Great Recession. Businesses are closing their doors left and right, even as Republicans keep telling us that they care so deeply about small business owners. Those people are suffering, and Trump and his Republicans remain completely silent.

Donald Trump's approval rating on every issue continues to plummet, as does his support among every demographic, and that has left Fox News hosts in a tough spot to try to spin their way out of it. But they haven't given up. On Friday's episode of The Five, one of the hosts suggested that Trump's low numbers were not only "expected," but they were due to him being a "victim of his own success" because voters hold him to a higher standard than other human beings. These folks' brains are melting in real time.

Staffers in the Trump administration don't have a shortage of excuses ready to go for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's bizarre behavior and nonstop costume play, but they are sick and tired of having to give them out. According to a new report, Trump officials are growing exhausted by Noem's behavior and they are ready for her to be gone from the administration. Reports have previously suggested that Trump wants Noem gone himself, and that she is looking for a way to exit before being fired.

The planned bailout for American farmers was supposed to be Donald Trump's way of buying their loyalty for another election cycle, but these farmers have been through this song and dance far too many times now to fall for it. They are now speaking out about being used as "political pawns" by the man that they helped put back in office, and they are tired of being abused over and over again by him. And they aren't the only Trump supporters speaking out about his presidency.

The Republican-controlled House of Representatives broke a LOT of really bad records this year, the most obvious of which was presiding over the longest government shutdown in American history. But in addition to that grim milestone, this Congress also passed the fewest number of bills EVER, while also seeing a record number of members announce that they are retiring (most of them being Republicans.) This is officially the most "do-nothing Congress" in history.

Joe Rogan was absolutely ecstatic when Donald Trump won the 2024 election, as he had spent months trashing Joe Biden while promoting Trump. But just a year later things are completely different, and Rogan has apparently come to the realization that Trump is an unhinged lunatic who can't do anything right. On his podcast on Friday with guest Shane Gillis, Rogan tore into Trump about multiple recent issues that Trump brought upon himself, including his disgusting response to Rob Reiner's murder.

At the recent Turning Point conference, Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson finally started to sound the alarm bells about Republicans' chances in next year's midterms. Johnson warned that Democrats could take over (which is almost guaranteed at this point), and that if they do, they'll go out and impeach Donald Trump again. He's trying to scare Republicans into submission, but doing so by arguing that the least popular president in modern history is in danger isn't exactly going to get people energized.

Kevin Hassett, the chief economic adviser to Donald Trump, panicked when questioned by CBS's Margaret Brennan about when Americans can expect to start receiving their $2,000 tariff rebate checks that Trump has repeatedly promised. Hassett tried to say that Congress has to do that because it is a budget issue, and then immediately pivoted away from the topic in order to distract the public from that rather shocking admission that proves that Trump is a total liar.

Elise Stefanik is quitting. Cynthia Lummis is retiring. Marjorie Taylor Greene and several other House members have either already announced their retirements or their resignations. The Great Republican Resignation movement has officially begun, as many analysts had predicted. But to see such high profile members like Stefanik and Greene bail out was likely not on anyone's 2025 Bingo cards.

Old man Trump tried his hand at another rally in a sleepy town last Friday, and things somehow went even worse than his previous rally in Pennsylvania the week before. Trump couldn't stay on topic for more than a few minutes, and went on so many wild tangents that no one could keep track of what he was even supposed to be talking about. At one point, he went into disturbing detail about how he "thinks" his wife cleans her underwear and organizes her underwear drawer.

Donald Trump reportedly talked with infamous Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz about the possibility of serving a third term in office, something that Dershowitz has now written a book about, laying out the legal possibilities that could make it happen. Trump is clearly not just "joking" about a third term, as Susie Wiles said in her recent Vanity Fair issue. But just because he's not joking doesn't mean we should take it seriously.

A former manager at Donald Trump's Bedminster golf resort in New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against the club for wrongful termination, but the lawsuit has a lot more information than just being fired for things that weren't her fault. The manager details harassment, misogyny, discrimination, and the most disgusting kitchen details you could imagine. She claims in the suit that even Donald Trump himself was disgusted by the state of the club, which included "maggots", "mold", and a terrible "fly infestation."

With the new agreement between TikTok and the Trump administration being approved (final signing will happen in January), Donald Trump is now in charge of one of the most powerful and influential social media platforms on earth. Trump's good friend and donor Larry Ellison will be given most of the control over both the algorithm and the data of all users, giving Trump an unprecedented grip over Americans.

Lindsey Halligan, the disqualified US Attorney that Trump installed to prosecute his political enemies, is still refusing to leave her office even after the courts told her that she doesn't have a job. That has to be embarrassing for her, especially since she can't even spell the word "Virginia" correctly. It was recently brought to the attention of a delighted internet that Halligan's signature included an embarrassing misspelling that left people shocked and laughing.

Donald Trump is already planning on issuing preemptive pardons to members of his administration, according to sources inside the administration who recently spoke with reporters. This isn't shocking at all, but it does provide clear evidence that accountability is forever going to remain a stranger for the liars and cheats that Trump has packed into his cabinet (including himself.)

Donald Trump's "economic" address to the country last week was so bad that it has left Republicans scrambling to figure out how to properly do damage control. Reports say that Republicans were sickened by the event and now they fear that they have even bigger problems on their hands than before Trump went on the air. He definitely didn't do anyone any favors with that address.
