    The 1st episode of the Gender & the Union podcast invites Susan, youth activist, to discuss the prevention of violence through education and dismantling harmful gender norms/stereotypes with the President of the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality Portugues Commission from Portugal, Sandra Ribeiro.


    Susan is 24 and a mother of one and a member of the Estonian Sexual Health Association. She gives relationship and sexuality education courses and is a moderator in theatre-based workshops where boys and girls who participate literally walk in one another's shoes to help challenge and dismantle 'gender roles' – as part of the project Youth SpectActors. She is also an actor in a sex positive play called “Kuidas öelda jah” (How to say Yes) which is a project put together from real dialogues of young people about sex, sexuality and everything that comes with it.
