  • Generational Family Trauma

Join me & my special guest Tracey Yokas the author of Bloodlines & childhood trauma survivor in a conversation about strength, hope, resilience & the healing recovery process.

In this episode, Tracey speaks candidly about being raised by emotionally unavailable, neglectful & immature parents and how she was able to overcome years of chaos, confusion & dysfunction and not only accept what happened but hold empathy & compassion for her parents.

She reminds us through her art, journalling & creativity that early childhood trauma can be healed & addressed non-verbally since most childhood trauma takes place before the age of 3.

Since the legacy of family trauma gets past down to us generationally, she had the courage and tenacity to heal her own daughter despite never having a strong & reliable role model growing up.
