    Jul 12 2024

Exploring Diverse Perspectives requires the ability to recognize the origins and influences of one's cultural heritage and identity. Jul 8 2024

Nonverbal communication can be more impactful than the words you use. Your nonverbal cues or body language can convey trust and draw others towards you, or they can offend, confuse, and undermine your message. These cues continue to send messages even after you stop speaking. Professional speaker Devin Bisanz has over a decade of experience shaping international speech champions, guiding TEDx luminaries, keynote speakers, and fine-tuning CEOs. He has spent thousands of hours observing speakers with the sound off, learning every detail of non-verbal communication. Devin has delivered over 2,000 presentations and knows how to educate, entertain, and inspire audiences. He emphasizes the importance of how you convey your message rather than just the words you use. In 2002, Devin had a near-death experience when his street bike was rear-ended by a speeding pickup truck, resulting in a traumatic head injury. • Logan Hufford: "I Am No Longer in Bondage to Sexual Addiction"
    Jul 6 2024

The Cleveland Clinic's research shows that hypersexuality affects about 3% to 10% of the general U.S. population, with it being more common in men than in women. For every two to five males with hypersexuality, one woman is affected. On average, sexual addiction starts at 18 years of age.

Logan Hufford shared, “I'm no longer in bondage to sexual addiction. Being able to say those words is the 2nd biggest blessing in my life, after salvation through Jesus Christ. I spent years actively destroying my marriage, my life, and the lives of many others. I was addicted to pornography, affairs, and much more. I was, as Paul said, the chief of sinners, and I truly never envisioned a life where I wasn’t constantly mired in sexual depravity. It had become all I knew, day in and day out. In 2016, God began to change all of that. My life and my marriage now are something I literally could not have fathomed eight years ago. I sincerely believe my mission on this earth is to share with others how that happened. It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t quick, and I didn’t do it alone.”

Logan, a native Alaskan, is married to his wife Carrie, a 4th-generation Alaskan. Together, they are raising four wonderful but lively children. Despite leading a simple life filled with family time, their dogs, and exploring the beautiful Alaskan wilderness, none of this could have been possible today.

He thought he had no hope. Both Logan and Carrie now lead recovery groups, sharing the blessings that God has given them. Since January 2021, Logan has been able to utilize the tools he learned in addiction recovery as a Dave Ramsey-endorsed personal finance coach. He feels honored to help others find freedom and healthy living in a different arena than specifically recovery.

  • Understanding the Intricacies of Resilience with: Dr. Stephen Sideroff
    Jun 27 2024

A recent global poll uncovered an interesting trend in the U.S. regarding resilience. As reported by the Lloyd's Register Foundation World Risk Poll, societies tend to exhibit higher levels of resilience than the individuals within them.

Surprisingly, the survey revealed that no other country in the world has individuals as resilient as those living in a society perceived to be so fragile as the U.S. The U.S. ranks second highest in the world for individual resilience, following Sweden, in the third edition of the poll. The data was collected from 147,000 people in over 140 countries, providing insights into how individuals experienced and perceived risk in 2023.

Dr. Stephen Sideroff is a well-known psychologist, executive and medical consultant, and an expert in resilience, longevity, optimal performance, addiction, neurofeedback, and mental health. His pioneering research in these fields has been widely published. He holds the position of associate professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and Rheumatology at UCLA’s Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Sideroff has played a key role in establishing innovative training and treatment approaches in optimal functioning and mind/body medicine in the U.S., China, and Europe. He has also hosted summits on longevity, resilience, and leadership.

Dr. Sideroff shares, "I had a challenging but formative childhood. The key to my success lies in my approach to overcoming the emotional difficulties I encountered. Each challenge I faced helped me grow and taught me valuable life lessons, which I now impart to my audience and network. I continue to embrace new challenges with a positive outlook, no matter how difficult they may seem, and I am eager to share my secrets to success."

  • Dr Garrett Smith: “I Consider Myself a Teacher of Health and Nutrition at Heart”
    Jun 21 2024

Over 100 million people in the U.S. have some form of liver disease. 4.5 million U.S. adults (1.8%) have been diagnosed with liver disease. However, it is estimated that 80-100 million adults in the U.S. have fatty liver disease, and many are unaware that they have it, according to the American Liver Foundation.

Dr. Garrett Smith is a Licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) in Arizona and is known as the Nutrition Detective. He is the world's leading expert on vitamin A toxicity and detoxification, as well as the health paradigm-shifting Toxic Bile Theory. Dr. Smith specializes in applying science, logic, and practical approaches to topics like detoxification and nutrition, while making challenging concepts understandable for the layperson. He hosts the weekly Love Your Liver Livestream on YouTube and is the creator of the do-it-yourself health recovery Love Your Liver program.

As a child, Dr. Smith was interested in health topics early on. He started lifting weights at home at age 11, which led him to an interest in nutrition. Over the years, he has explored nearly all major health and disease approaches such as candida, toxic metals, carnivore, vegetarian, functional medicine, herbs, orthomolecular supplements, homeopathy, and more. Dr. Smith has taken what was valuable from each of those approaches and left the rest behind. He has personally experienced negative health effects from many of those approaches. Now, through the Toxic Bile Theory, he is able to explain to people why certain things made them feel better, why certain things made them feel worse, and what they should do now. He has personally addressed his own health issues, such as psoriasis, prostate, urinary issues, and chronic insomnia, and aims to help others figure out the root causes of their health issues and find solutions to overcome them.
