Justin Herbert suffered an injured Plantar Fascia and the Chargers are saying he will be ready for the regular season, so it's not time to panic as long as he doesn't miss games. He will miss training camp however, and that means missing valuable time to build chemistry with a very new group of skill players. Kristian Fulton flamed out in Tennessee for a multitude of reasons but it seems like a change of scenery has reinvigorated the young cornerback. Fulton made plays all over the place at Chargers training camp on Wednesday and received rave reviews from his new DC Jesse Minter. Underdog stories happen in training camp all the time, and this year it could be running back Jaret Patterson who could be this season's Cinderella story. The running back room is crowded, but Patterson has done everything he can early on to catch the eye of the coaching staff, including Jim Harbaugh. There were fireworks on Day 4 of Chargers training camps and one of the most impressive plays was Justin Herbert airing it out to rookie Ladd McConkey. The pads were popping at Monday’s Chargers training camp practice and all eyes were on fifth overall pick Joe Alt going one-on-one against Joey Bosa. On day one of pads it was Bosa who won the reps but Alt proved throughout practice that there is a learning curve, but he absolutely belongs. It's no surprise that it was Justin Herbert that shined at training camp on day two, but he was hot even by his standards connecting on several chunk plays early. The coaching staff is reportedly blown away by Herbert's ability to pick up the offense and are intrigued by his potential rushing ability. Training Camp is back! Quentin Johnston got his sophomore season off to a great start by making plays on day one for the Chargers, but should you buy the hype? Johnston will have to do a lot to make fans forget about a tumultuous rookie season, but Jim Harbaugh is definitely on the QJ bandwagon. The Chargers depth at cornerback is very questionable, but if Hart can marry his physical traits with playmaking he will be hard to keep him off the field. Training camp will look different than seasons past under Jim Harbaugh who is opening up the most anticipated training camp in Chargers history. This feels like the official start of an era and we will get to see Justin Herbert and Harbaugh sharing the field together for the first time in front of fans.
