Bobby Miller was roughed up by the Phillies and the Dodgers were blown out in the opening game of the series. Miller has not looked good since coming back from the IL. Bobby Miller struggled from the start locating the curve and the Phills were feasting on the fastball. Former Dodgers Tre Turner hit a grand slam part of a 6 run 4th that made it 9-0 Cavan Biggio accounted for the only Dodger run with his 3rd homer and 1st as a Dodger. Not a good showing or the Dodgers in a battle of the top 2 teams in the National league.

The Dodgers didn't have a game so the guys did a mailbag episode. They got a lot of questions about the trade deadline and what the team should target. The biggest questions came for third base and what the Dodgers should do there. Should they give guys like Andre Lipcius or Kody Hoese a chance? Also, Tyler Glasnow has had a couple rough starts. Is there any concern about fatigue as he nears a career-high in innings pitched?
