For the first time in over a month, the Dodgers won a series on the road. Jack Flaherty, the bullpen and some timely offense all came through for the Dodgers in taking two of three against the A's. Flaherty's Dodger debut was six shutout innings with seven strikeouts, which was just what the team needed. The bullpen allowed runs on Friday only, and preserved a one-run lead over 4 innings on Sunday. There's a lot of decisions coming for the roster as Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, Tommy Edman, Brusdar Graterol and Michael Grove are all due back soon. Also, should the Dodgers give Walker Buehler a rotation spot like they plan to after one more rehab start?

Dodgers scored twice in the first on a Kike Hernandez 2 out double part of a 6-10 series. The game winner would come in the 3rd on a Cavan Biggio rbi single. The bullpen would make the one-run lean stand up for a 3-2 win. River Ryan had a solid outing going 4 2/3 giving 2 runs on a home run and just 5 hits.

Jack Flaherty made his debut as a Dodger and looked great. He worked out of a bases loaded jam in the 6th, it would be his last frame allowing just 5 hits while striking out 7. Dodgers looked alive at the plate with 14 hits which included a 6 run 9th and they went 8-15 with RISP 3 hits for Teoscar Hernandez and Kike Hernandez and Shohei Ohtani had 2 and stole 2 bases to become the first Dodger to go 30/30 (home runs and stolen bases) since Matt Kemp in 2011. 10-0 the final.

Dodgers lead early on a Teoscar Hernandez 2-run homer but the went 0-16from there. The A's tied it in the 4th on 2 solo home runs and then posted 4 more in the 5th on double, triple and homer to grab 6-2 lead. Shohei Ohtani hit his 33rd round tripper of the year in the 9th to pull the Dodgers to within 1 but the A's hold on 6-5

Clayton Kershaw failed to strike out a batter and was hit around in a loss to the Padres. Kershaw has been named in postseason rotation projections but realistically the Dodgers shouldn’t need him to throw in the postseason. Michael Kopech made his Dodgers debut and was lights out. What can we expect from him moving forward? Lastly, there’s some reinforcements on the way hopefully sooner rather than later. The Dodgers have some decisions to make and it might not be that hard.

Clayton Kershaw started and had a fairly smooth first inning but that would be it as the Padres put up 4 in the 2nd 3 more in the 4th and that was all for Kerhsaw who gave up 3 runs on 6 hits and only 2 swing and misses. Gavin Lux drove in the only run but uncharacteristically had 2 errors part of 3 on the night for the Dodgers who have now lost 10 of their last 12 road games.

Dodgers scored 5 in the first and then went to sleep at the plate as the Padres scratched their way back into the game and tied it in the 9th with 2 solo home runs off Blake Treinen. Really solid outing for Tyler Glasnow who went 7 striking out 8 giving up 3 runs on 6 hits. Padres walk it off in 10 6-5
