    What if I told you that the legacy we leave our kids is a result of our actions today?

    In this eye-opening conversation with Julie Redmond on the Mom Made Plans podcast, we discuss the unhealthy coping mechanisms (including scrolling) that I’ve used to deal with the stresses of motherhood, and how recognizing the legacy I wanted to leave has allowed me to shift my perspective. I also offer some tactical strategies on how to leave a legacy by how we live in the mundane moments of motherhood.

    Julie, a two-time guest on Moms Overcoming Overwhelm, is a twin mom and host of the Mom Made Plans podcast. She is on a mission to make mom-life feel easier by getting out of survival mode and into intentional motherhood. She fully believes no routine or system will work until you know how you work. That means using self awareness filled strategies to become more efficient and impactful in your home.

    Natalie Hixson is a wife, mama to three, and Certified professional Christian life coach. She helps discouraged Christian moms overcome destructive anger and burnout.

    After learning to thrive in motherhood and process anger in a healthy way, Natalie became convicted to help other moms avoid those dark years of motherhood by helping them to appreciate and process their anger, learn to identify their triggers, and ultimately control their reaction to those triggering situations.
