    "In My Father's Kitchen" by RT Villa. RT’s essay begins and ends in the kitchen, but travels through time, memory, and lineage. RT Villa is a writer, artist, and educator who’s currently pursuing an MFA at Oregon State University. Their work has appeared in McSweeney’s, The Believer, Grub Street, and other publications. “In My Father’s Kitchen” originally appeared in Atlas + Alice.

    "Xavi" by Loretta Velle. Loretta's story is a colorful and touching exploration of how we remember the dead. Loretta is a fiction writer from the southern tip of Texas. She lives in Corvallis, Oregon, where she recently earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Oregon State University. She now works at OSU as a full-time writing instructor. Music by Jonas Myers.   • Rare Whale Ballet

    "Rare Whale Ballet" and other poems by Lila Cutter. Lila’s writing has an almost water-like quality. It slides and splashes, it bends without breaking, and it crystalizes into some sort of mirror. Lila is an MFA student in poetry at Oregon State University with a background in equitable arts education. Her poetry often centers on perceptions of femininity, matrilineal connections, and the physical and psychic landscape of her home state of Iowa. Lila's work can be found in The Citron Review, Dream Pop Press, and Miniskirt Magazine, among others. Music by Jonas Myers.
