My guest on this very first podcast is Omoyele Sowore. He is a Nigerian human rights activist and is the founder of SaharaReporters, an online news platform. Sowore is widely known for his constant constructive criticisms of Nigerian governments from the military era till date. He has been arrested countless times by the Nigerian government on trumped up charges and his international passport is currently held by the government. A pan-African, he is currently running for President under the African Action Congress.

In this episode, we discuss a whole range of issues including his family, micro level/state politics and whether he'll consider running for Governor of Ondo State.
