  • Creative Fulfillment: Inside the Mind of the Creator
    Jul 8 2024

If you are looking for a way to expand your creative realms and push past limiting beliefs/fears to set you free. Today's episode is worth a listen.

If any of the following resonates with you...

    • You're losing motivation in your creative project(s)
    • You often subconsciously make it more about the audience than you do about your own satisfaction
    • You can't seem to tell when the project you created is "done"
    • You're overly critical about your work
    • You often get confused by resistance in your work and label it as intuition
    • The process of creating is more dreadful than it is enjoyable

Don't worry, you're in the right place! I'm so glad you've tuned in today and I hope after you listen to this episode you will feel a sense of confidence in your work moving forward.

Today I have a special guest on the show... my big brother Tom!

In this episode, we talk all about the creative process and everything that either hinders or leads to creative fulfillment. Some topics we'll cover include: the process of creating, being satisfied with the outcome of your work, motivation vs. discipline, the audience, etc.

As Tom is currently perusing stand-up comedy, we were able to connect both of our personal experiences with being a creator, in a way that is digestible for you (the listener) to understand and apply the topics at hand to your own life.

    Journal prompts for creative fulfillment:

    1. What are you passionate about? (These can be things you have not yet explored)
    2. What is something you are really good at?
    3. What do you believe your purpose in life is?
    4. What are the limiting beliefs that constantly make you feel like you're not making any progress in your creative endeavors?
    5. Be honest, do you feel that your sense of worth comes directly from your audience or would you feel satisfied just knowing that you were putting your best work out there?
    6. What is your relationship with time like in your creative process? Do you often feel like you're rushing to get things out, do you feel very present in the process, or do you feel like you're not moving fast enough?
    7. What is one thing you took from today's episode that you can apply to your own personal creative approach to life?

  • Current Thoughts: Stop Forcing Connections and Start Knowing Your Worth
    Jul 15 2024

Today I sat on the mic and talked about some lessons I've learned recently that I think you may need to hear as well.

When you are a very loving person, yearning for deep connections in life, it's easy to jump at the next person that gives you the slightest glimpse of what you think you're looking for. This ultimately will lead to your needs not being met because your expectations going into this connection were already unrealistic, given that you barely knew this person from the start.

I am here to give you all the reassurance and guidance that you may need right now, in order to move on and unlock your worth moving forward.

    *****PLEASE REMEMBER*****

There is no such thing as loving "too hard"

You are and have always been enough

    You are loved.

Some journal prompts for today's episode:

    1. What dreams are you burying inside of you right now, afraid of telling people?
    2. Why are you afraid to tell people about your passions?
    3. What is the story you've created about the way that you love?
    4. In what ways are yo holding yourself back from having all your needs met?
    5. If you were forced to go back in time and restructure the way that you handled the situation at play, what would you do differently?
    6. What is weighing on you right now? What made you feel this way?
    7. Who told you that you were "unlovable," "too much," or "not enough?"
    8. When have you ever forced a relationship in your life that led to someone being a part of your life long-term?

Everything you'll ever need is inside of you. Seek from within.
