  • Tarr Ka mela
    Sep 14 2023

  • Story of St cathedral church Allahabad
    Aug 27 2023
The cathedral was designed in the Gothic style of 13th century European cathedrals by Sir William Emerson who is known for such masterpieces as the Crawford Market in Mumbai and the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata. Keeping up with the warm climate for much of the year in Allahabad, the cathedral has porches for carriages, low windows that could be easily covered with mats to protect interiors from hot winds and dust, and vaulted hallways. The exterior is built in creamish white stone with fine red sandstone dressings, and the roof is covered with red tiles. With a line of palms around it, this cathedral presents a façade with fine stucco work, Gothic arches, a tower, flying buttresses and snarling gargoyles. Inside, you can see vaulted ceilings, classical columns, archways, beautiful stained glass windows and an impressive altar with mosaic and marble inlay. The pulpit is exceedingly fine piece of workmanship in alabaster with three panels. While European architecture dominates the church building, there is some fine marble latticework inspired by the Mughal buildings of Agra.

  • SEIGE OF LUCKNOW
    May 29 2023
It is said that whenever someone is betrayed, the betrayer has to bear the consequences after 25 years, something similar happened with the Britishers, the Nawab who gave them a place to stay (whatever the reason may be). When his own family was evicted from its place, then the anger of the people broke out on the atrocities done towards their Nawab, which ended very tragically, and from this it also started to know that Lucknow took the revenge of Delhi. What happened that the cities which used to be rivals of each other, suddenly came together, I am talking about such an incident that took place in the Ghadar of 1857 which shook the British to the core, I am talking about the Siege of Lucknow, the Residency. May 16 2023
Untold Story of Nalanda University 2.0 | Bihar Ka Gaurav Nalanda University The year 1192 was a very interesting year in the history of India, this year when Delhi was occupied by the Afghan rulers, there were many changes in the geography and culture of India, the small rulers who were fighting with each other suddenly became the third powerful. Became subject to the ruler, before 92 there were only Buddha, Hindu, Jain religions, but now Muslim religion started growing rapidly, and on the other side also the same thing happened where the Afghan ruler had never thought even there, those people knew Engaged and started fighting, something similar happened with Bhaktiyar Khilji from his place who came with Muhammad Ghori, there was a cultural shock for the people on both sides, the religion divided into castes could not be handled at once, the series of victory at a distance Bhaktiyar went on blinding Khilji as well, that's why he first destroyed Nalanda and then Vikramshila, both in the same year, after Ghori's death, Khilji ruled Bengal and Bihar independently, now talking about Nalanda, many Various different theories are found, such as the 12th century Tibetan text Pag Sam John Zang mentions the burning of Nalanda's library by some 'Brahmin beggars'.
