  • EPISODE #158: Community in Motion: Building Planet Nusa with Mille
    Oct 28 2025

In this episode of RUNWITHALLI LIVE, I sit down with Mille, co-founder of Planet Nusa — a community-driven activewear brand born in Denmark and rooted in movement, inclusivity, and connection.

    What’s inside:

    • How Mille’s background and co-founding the brand with Kristine shaped the mission of Planet Nusa — making it more than just apparel, but a true community.
    • The story of how Planet Nusa started from a simple Facebook event and grew organically into a global movement — proving that “professionalism & community can go hand-in-hand.”
    • Insight into Planet Nusa’s signature events like “Walk With Us” and their monthly Nusa Runs — and how these experiences keep the brand grounded in real connections.
    • A look at how Planet Nusa designs and produces with their community: from sourcing 90% of production in Europe to involving customers in feedback loops before the style ever hits the site.
    • A personal story from Mille about a memorable moment in the Planet Nusa community that perfectly captures the brand’s spirit of belonging and movement.
    • Finally — why Mille said YES to coming on the RunWithAlli LIVE podcast and what she hopes to share with our running and coaching community.

Tune in for an uplifting conversation about building a brand that moves with purpose, one step at a time. I truly loved this chat with Mille, speaking about what she hopes to share with our running community through movement, empowerment, and acceptance. I hope you enjoy the listen as much as I did!

  • EPISODE #155: Rooted in Change: Delphine Sellars’ Vision for Agriculture, Equity & Urban Empowerment
    Sep 14 2025

In this episode of RUNWITHALLI LIVE, I sit down with Delphine Godley Sellars, co-founder of Urban Community AgriNomics (UCAN). Just like we runners know the importance of fueling well and respecting the process, Delphine’s work is all about transforming food access, environmental justice, and community resilience in Northern Durham.

We talk about how a vision of healthy food, soil justice, and youth empowerment led Delphine and her sister Lucille to launch a nonprofit that’s already donated over 100,000 lbs of fresh produce, restored heritage land, and built bridges across generations through education.

I loved my conversation with Delphine Sellars about the parallels between UCAN’s mission of harvesting food and a runner’s journey. UCAN empowers communities to be less reliant on the outside world—just like running teaches us to discover the world one step at a time. We may not be gathering food on our runs, but we’re harvesting something different: lessons, resilience, and a deeper connection to nature, step by step, minute by minute, mile by mile.

Please tune in and get inspired by a grassroots leader who’s cultivating impact the same way we build fitness: one step, one seed, one act at a time!
