    Georgia and Jonny enjoyed a delicious PB&J Chia Pudding topped with Spoon's Almond Butter and Apple Granola while discussing how context influences the perfect breakfast. For instance, papaya with fresh lime feels very different when enjoyed on a beach in Thailand compared to a Monday morning in a London flat!


    The recipe for the Chia Pudding is:


    Per person:

    2 Tbsp Chia Seeds

    2 Tbsp Coconut Yoghurt

    125ml Coconut milk

    1 Tbsp Raspberry Jam

    1 Tbsp Peanut Butter


    Layer it on top of each other and top it with granola and raspberries

  • E.4 Marathon runner, Charlie Watson on running fuel, buggy running and potatoes

    In this episode, we are sitting down for a tasty seasonal breakfast with Charlie Watson the runner and influencer.


    On the menu today we have a delicious banana split topped with coconut yoghurt, cacao nibs and of course, spoon granola!


    Recipe:


    Ingredients (per person)

    1 Banana

    Tsp Coconut Oil

    Cinnamon

    Coconut Yoghurt

    Granola

    Cacao Nibs


    Method:

    1. Heat a tsp of coconut oil in a pan until hot
    2. Slice your banana down the middle and place it face down on the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes each side
    3. Dust with some cinnamon and add to your plate
    4. Top it with coconut yoghurt and Spoon granola and you have a delicious banana split



    As running continues to gain popularity and the London Marathon 2025 sees a record number of participants, we thought it would be insightful to speak with Charlie about her running journey, how she fuels her runs, and the running challenges she faces ahead.

    Charlie exemplifies how to seamlessly integrate running into daily life, managing to train while pushing her buggy and walking the dog!


    In this episode Charlie shares some tips on the best ways to fuel your runs and also her go to post long run re-fuel!

    On the menu today we had Matcha Pancakes topped with Coconut Yoghurt, Peanut Butter Granola, Peanut Butter and Mani Life’s Cocoa Dusted Peanuts


    The recipe for the pancakes are:

    Ingredients:

    4x eggs

    4x banana

    1 cup of oats

    1 tsp Matcha

    1 tsp Spirulina

    Dash of cinnamon

    Dash of vanilla extract

    Coconut Yoghurt

    Mani Life Peanut Butter

    Mani Life Cocoa Dusted Peanuts



    Coinciding with the launch of the new Spoon X ManiLife Peanut Butter Granola we thought it would be great to chat with Stu about his mornings, where peanut butter and granola play a part in his life and how is mornings look now that he is the father to twin girls. Stu also shares a little behind the scenes of life at Mani Life and how much they have innovated since Stu stepping down as CEO and moving into more of the Founder, Innovator role. They have launched some amazing new products such as Salted Caramel Peanut Butter in collaboration with Joe and Sephs and also Almond Butter.

    Other than creating the best peanut butter on the market Stu has also recently got into cycling and cooking and he shares his latest challenge which is cycling from London to Sydney over 25 legs through doing a leg a year!

    In this episode, our host, Georgia Symonds sits down for a tasty, seasonal breakfast with Eve Kalinik to talk about nutrition and how her mornings set her up for the day!


    Eve is a nutritional therapist helping you to discover that a healthy and happy gut can support your mind and body with her one-to-one consultations, podcast and books. Her podcast is called the Wellness Breakdown which she co-hosts with Rose Ferguson and her cookbook is called Happy Gut, Happy Mind.


    Georgia prepared a delicious breakfast of chocolate orange porridge topped with Spoon Dark Chocolate granola, cacao nibs and fresh orange


    Recipe:

    • 50g oats
    • 1 tsp cacao powder
    • ½ orange zested
    • ½ orange juiced
    • 1 tsp maple syrup
    • 1 tbsp chia seeds
    • 150ml Oat milk


    Toppings:

    Spoon Dark Chocolate Granola

    Cacao nibs

    Orange segment


    Method:

    1. Zest and juice the orange
    2. Add all the ingredients for the porridge together in a saucepan and mix through on a medium heat, stirring frequently until piping hot
    3. Top with Spoon Granola, Cacao nibs and Orange



    Eve and Georgia discuss the benefits of matcha and the importance of buying ceremonial grade, they also discuss Eve's relationship with Yoga and meditative practices in the morning and how that sets her up for the day!

    In this podcast, our host, Georgia Symonds sits down with food writer Miranda York to discuss her morning routine and career as a food writer and how that shapes her routine.


    Miranda York is a food writer championing our connection to food. She is also the Founder of At The Table a creative platform that explores and celebrates British food culture by looking at food from a fresh perspective.


    In this episode Georgia and Miranda enjoy a seasonal breakfast of a winter spiced date chia pudding topped with stewed plums and Spoon Granola


    Ingredients (per person)

    2 Tbsp Chia Seeds

    2 Tbsp Coconut Yoghurt

    125ml Coconut Milk

    1 Tsp Cinnamon

    1 Tsp Ginger

    1 Date

    2 Plums

    Dash of water

    Drizzle of agave


    Method:

    1. Prepare the chia pudding the night before by mixing the chia seeds together with the yoghurt, milk, cinnamon, ginger
    2. Chop one medjool date into small pieces and add into the chia pudding
    3. Pop it into the fridge overnight to set
    4. In the morning stew the plums by chopping them into small pieces and cooking on a medium heat with a dash of cinnamon, agave and water
    5. Top the chia pudding with the plums and a sprinkle of the granola
    6. Enjoy


    Georgia and Miranda discuss Miranda's routine and the role that food plays in her life. Miranda shares her lack of routine and structure and how that enables her to be more creative! She also shares her love for both sweet and savoury breakfasts and also gives us an insight of what being a food writer entails
