Well, you've heard about the things that I don't do so here's the follow up to that.  Here are the 6 things that I do "do" as a 40-Year old surfer woman.  These things apply to surfing and to my everyday life.  I hope that you are able to take at least one thing from this episode that helps you with your surfing.  I also will be taking a little break before the new year starts but please stay tuned as my next episode will be featuring a guest!  I'm super stoked and excited that you're still here!  I support you and I love you!  Keep on surfing!

These are the things that I don't do anymore as a 40-year old woman surfer and they are all huge time-savers.  From not washing my hair regularly to going total commando under my wetsuit.  All of this saves me time and money and does great things for my health.  I would love your feedback on what you don't do anymore as a surfer!

You need to surf with people who hoot you on waves.  Who cheer after you’ve caught a bomb ass wave.  Yes, for the most part surfing is a solo sport but when you can share it with people that have that same passion as you, you leave the ocean on a high that lasts the whole day.  This is why most surfers are so happy.  They get endorphins from surfing and it puts them in a positive state of mind.  

Go out and find the right surf crew, don't wait for it to come to you!

Have you ever dated anyone in the line-up while you were surfing?  Well I have...and I'm going to share the details with you and how I did it and it was 100% successful and you can do it too!  

Dating in the lineup is super easy, I’m also not going into this story with the intention that I do this all the time.  I did it one time guys…I’m not a ho (I promise) and I read the vibes right, which I normally don’t because I’m usually just out there surfing because I love it.  This happened super organically which is my vibe and was super unintentional and it 100% worked for me and ladies if you want to try something new besides those dating apps which I have tried, and you surf, you should give this a go.

There are a ton of podcasts out there but one thing that’s missing, at least I think, is the real person view.  The view from a 40-year old woman surfer in Southern California in the line-up, I’m not a horrible surfer, we’ll say average.  I celebrate all women who surf or anyone in general because it’s hard.  I hope that my stories and experiences in this podcast will inspire you and empower you to live your best life.
