Rona experienced a suicide in her friendship group at the age of 11, which caused a period of depression, anxiety and self-harm. She speaks about how her school made her feel isolated and alone, and how she turned to sites like Tumblr to try and find like-minded people. With the help of her friendship group and finding other people who were going through similar things on the Tellmi app, she eventually stopped self-harming, and is now about to start her first year at university.
