    Aug 4 2022
This week Hannah and Emma talk about digital delivery of mental health interventions, and how it differs from inperson working. We cover the infamous headspace episode - leading us to explore other helpful smart phone apps, and detail some published research studies into online EMDR.

  • 24: From Socrates to now
    Jul 20 2022
Hannah and Emma discuss social media and mental health and the risks and benefits. From Socrates to now there have always been concerns that the new thing will corrupt the youth. We go from Bebo to TikTok and discuss the difference between a digital native and an elder millennial (hint- it involves reels). Finally, we provide quite an unconvincingly delivered guide to taking a social media break - Hannah isnt a quitter and Emma has too many twitter accounts to just abandon them. Get in touch if you have successfully taken a social media break and if it helped your mental health.

  • 21: A completely neutral tone
    Feb 16 2022
An anti-valentine's episode (it was unintentional); this episode is about breakups and divorce including parents separating. We discuss why breakups are so painful, and what impacts on how we react, from our attachment styles to our ego ineffectively controlling the implusive id. We also discuss the aims of couples counselling.

  • 20: Sauce related coping
    Feb 9 2022
This week's episode is a little different, returning after a short hiatus following a bereavement, Emma and Hannah deal with this in the only way they know how, with radical authenticity and emotional depth. This may be a difficult listen for anyone recently bereaved. But we invite you if you feel able, to join us in this informal exploration of grief and love. As always do seek support if needed.
