  • Why Most Coaches are Stuck and Struggling and How a Body Based Business Shifts Everything with Brianna Rose
    Jun 24 2025

There was a time in my business journey where I truly believed that more effort = more results.

That if I could just master the strategy, stick to the schedule, and keep showing up consistently, I'd finally “make it.”

But then my body started whispering.

    Then it started screaming.

And that’s where this week's guest, Brianna Rose, comes in because this conversation cracked wide open the illusion of success we've been sold as female entrepreneurs… and offered something so much deeper in return.

We talked about the things most people aren’t saying out loud including:

    • How contraction is a sacred part of creation

    • Why “overnight success” is often just smart marketing

    • The real weight of launching and why it's okay to slow down

    • Why your slower seasons are where your greatest ideas are born

    • Why who you are matters more than what you offer

    • The energetic reality of passive income (because it’s never actually passive)

    • Why internal trust beats strategy every single time

    • The truth about what coaching is really about

Listen Now If You’re Ready to…

💭 Ditch the rigid formulas and build from your body’s wisdom
🌗 Embrace the slow seasons as sacred
🌀 Work with your energy, not against it
🔥 Redefine success on your terms not Instagram’s
💞 Lead with softness, depth, and unshakable trust

  • The Fight We’re Not Talking About: Trauma, Power & Belonging with Laurien Zurhake
    Jun 10 2025

What if I told you your power doesn’t come from being strong, but from being safe?

In this week's podcast episode, I sat down with Laurien Zurhake, a martial arts expert, educator, and absolute powerhouse and we cracked open a conversation that completely flipped the narrative around self-defense, trauma, and what it really means for women to reclaim their bodies.

We talked about trauma-informed spaces, patriarchal systems in martial arts, and how competition without collaboration has hurt more women than it’s helped.

And if you’ve ever felt like the world wasn’t built for your softness, your intuition, your rhythm—this one’s for you.

We didn’t just talk about martial arts… We also dove into:

    • Why trauma-informed practice isn’t optional (it’s the foundation for true growth and safety)

    • How martial arts can be a powerful tool for healing but only in the right environment

    • Why women still face invisible barriers in male-dominated training spaces and how we can change that

    • How ecological dynamics reshape the way we learn, move, and relate to our bodies

    • How collaboration beats competition (and why a scarcity mindset is keeping women small).

    • How healing starts when the nervous system finally feels safe enough to exhale.

    • How even children pick up on safety cues and what that tells us about the environments we create

    • Why women make incredible leaders in martial arts and why it’s time we stop asking for permission.

    🎙️ Listen Now

This conversation is a must-listen if you:
👉 Want to understand how trauma impacts performance + confidence
👉 Are craving safe, supportive spaces to grow your strength
👉 Believe in business (and life) that honors both power and softness

    Meet Laurien

Originally from the Netherlands, Laurien studied (Ancient) History in Nijmegen and at Oxford University (Brasenose College) and pursued a PhD in Munich (topic was Pain Behaviour). She met there her husband on the martial arts mats and due to sexual harassment by their headcoach, Laurien and her husband Alex decided to open their own Trauma Informed Martial Arts and Yoga School. Since that approach is still in its infancy in the martial arts domain, Laurien created her online platform Off the Zone, where she helps martial arts coaches, athletes and gym owners become trauma informed and how to implement effective safeguarding measures so that everyone can train hard and thrive safely.

  • Why Growth Can Feel So Hard Even When You’re Ready for It with Kate Gregory
    May 27 2025

This episode might be one of the most important ones I’ve ever recorded.

Not because it was perfectly polished.
But because it was real. Raw. Unfiltered.
The kind of conversation that lingers in your body long after it’s over.

Kate Gregory and I dove into the things most people don’t say out loud—the parts of entrepreneurship, womanhood, motherhood, and healing that don’t always fit inside a perfectly curated feed.

We talked about what it actually looks like to grow a business and a life that feels aligned when you’re also unraveling old stories, healing generational wounds, and redefining your own spiritual truth.

There’s no formula for this journey.
But there is a deeper truth waiting for you in this conversation.

Here’s a glimpse of what we explored:

    • Why grace is a non-negotiable in entrepreneurship (especially when life feels messy)

    • What it means to receive—support, love, rest, abundance and why so many women struggle with it

    • The invisible ways religious and cultural conditioning shape your self-worth, leadership, and trust in your own authority

    • How reparenting and spiritual growth go hand-in-hand

    • The real reason your inner child keeps getting triggered… and how to shift it

    • Why self-healing is your superpower (and how to stop waiting for permission)

    • The difference between codependent and empowered relationships

    • The nuanced conversation around “new age” beliefs, spiritual bypassing, and taking radical responsibility

    • What it looks like to reclaim your power as a woman on your terms

This one is for the woman who’s done performing.

The woman who’s ready to remember who she really is.

  • What Every Woman Needs to Know About Grief and Growth
    May 20 2025

You can be incredibly capable and still cry in the shower.

You can lead a business, raise a family, and hold space for others while silently navigating waves of grief, loss, or healing that no one else sees.

In this intimate and powerful conversation, I sat down with JoBeth Evans—widow, mother, hypnotherapist, and grief guide who brings so much permission, power, and perspective to the table.

This episode isn't about grief in the way you've probably heard it talked about. It's about reclaiming your emotions and giving yourself radical permission to feel it all even (especially) when the world expects you to hold it together.

Whether you’re grieving a person, a past version of yourself, a lost dream, or a chapter that didn’t go the way you planned—this episode is your invitation to finally breathe, feel, and move forward with grace and power.

    We also talked about…
    • Why “being strong” might actually be your nervous system in survival mode

    • What it means to let your inner child be in the car but not drive the damn thing

    • The guilt and grief that comes with new love after loss

    • How unmet expectations quietly wreck your relationships (and how to shift it)

    • Why victimhood isn’t a virtue (and how to tell the difference between feeling your feelings and staying stuck)

    • How subconscious beliefs from childhood still shape your patterns today

    • What “moving forward” actually looks like (and why it’s not a straight line)

"You don't move on, you move forward." JoBeth Evans, Grief Specialist

🎧 Listen in now and let this conversation be your reminder: You are not behind. You are not broken. You are in process and that is sacred.

  • The Truth About Women’s Health No One’s Telling You with Natalie Garay
    May 6 2025

Most women are taught to numb the symptoms.

Pop a pill. Power through. Hustle harder.

And when things still don’t feel right? They’re told, “You’re fine. It’s normal.”

    But what if it’s not?

What if the bloating, burnout, mood swings, and mystery symptoms are your body’s wisest language—begging you to pay attention?

In this deeply resonant conversation, I sat down with Natalie Garay, a movement mentor turned naturopath-in-training to uncover the hidden truths about women’s health, the broken systems we’re waking up from, and what it really means to come home to your body.

We’re not just talking about health here. We’re talking about taking back what’s always been yours.. your rhythm, your voice, your feminine edge.

    We also went deep on:
    • Why real connection (in life and business) can’t be replaced by a screen

    • The truth about nutrition (and why it’s so much more than “eat clean”)

    • The testing your doctor isn’t running—but should be

    • How the current medical system keeps women in the dark

    • Why you must become your own fiercest health advocate

    • The major gaps in women’s health education (even in med school)

    • Why symptom tracking is a form of self-leadership

    • What hormones are actually telling you (it’s not just about periods and PMS)

    • And the radical idea that your body already knows what she needs—if you’d only stop overriding her
Tune in now and start honoring the signals your body’s been sending you.

    Meet Natalie

Natalie is your go-to for cutting through the noise and getting real answers about your health. With a no-BS approach, she helps women over 40 ditch outdated advice and take back control of their bodies. She’s been there, done the trial-and-error, and knows exactly what works. When she’s not guiding women through game-changing health transformations, she’s walking the harbor, bouncing on her trampoline, and proving that midlife vitality isn’t a myth—it’s a strategy.

  • The Courage to Be Seen: Alva Gardner on Breaking Stigmas Around Disability, Sexuality, and Success
    Apr 29 2025

Have you ever met someone who redefines what courage looks like?

There are moments that crack you open in the best way and my conversation with Alva Gardner in this podcast episode was exactly that.

Alva is a speaker, advocate, and unapologetically bold woman living with cerebral palsy who reminded me just how powerful it is to own your voice as you are.

This episode is for every woman who’s been told she’s “too different,” “too much,” or “not enough”—because those differences? That’s where your magic lives.

This is what I mean when I talk about disrupting hustle culture and doing business in alignment with your body, your story, your truth.

Disability isn’t something to fix, hide, or fear.

It’s part of the human experience and when we honor that, we stop creating systems that work for the few and start building spaces that work for all of us.

And honestly? If that’s not feminine leadership, I don’t know what is.

    We also talked about:

    • How Alva’s public speaking journey began at just 8 years old—and why her voice is more powerful because of her difference, not despite it

    • Why embracing your “too muchness” or “not-enoughness” is exactly what makes you magnetic and impactful

    • How Alva uses humor, grace, and real talk to shift perceptions and break stigma

    • The quiet power of being raised by someone who presumed ability, not limitation and how that shaped Alva’s identity

    • The taboo truths about sexuality and disability (and why access, autonomy, and education matter so much more than we think)

    • How to reframe disability as a natural, inevitable part of the human experience (not something to fix or fear)

“There's such a misconception of disability as a category, disability as a group of people, that people who don't yet experience disability, have and don't have a connection to disability, have this perception that that is always how it will be.” Alva Gardner

This conversation will stretch your heart, expand your mind, and leave you thinking about your own visibility in a whole new way.

  • What Most Women in Business Are Missing (And How to Get It Back)
    Apr 17 2025

Something powerful happens when women gather.

    Not to plan.
    Not to hustle.
But to remember who they are.

That’s exactly what happened at the Awaken Retreat, and I’m still integrating all the magic that unfolded. So much came through that I had to record a full podcast episode to share it with you. And friend, if your soul is craving depth, alignment, and that grounded “this is who I really am” kind of energy—this episode is for you.

    Here’s a peek at what I dive into…

    • The power of gathering with women who are all so different—yet create the most soul-aligned, supportive energy together

    • What it actually means to awaken your feminine leadership and stop leading from your head

    • Why your womb space is a portal for intuitive, creative leadership (and how this applies even if you don’t have a uterus)

    • The truth about why we’ve been conditioned to disconnect from our bodies, our sensuality, and our desires

    • A practice I use in Your Cycle Advantage that helps women reconnect with their desires

    • The difference between cognitive alignment (makes sense) vs. energetic alignment (feels undeniable) and how to build your business from that space

If you’ve been building your business from the neck up, wondering why things still feel hard or misaligned...

If you’ve been craving more play, more permission, more purpose...

If you’ve felt the nudge to stop doing it like everyone else and finally start leading from within...

This episode will be like a breath of fresh air (and a fire in your belly 🔥).

You don’t need to add more to your plate.
You don’t need to follow another five-step strategy.
You just need to come home to yourself—your body, your rhythm, your desire.
