Our family is preparing for yet another transformative journey, as we plan to relocate to a new country. While professional reasons and the necessity to depart from Dubai initially drove our decision, our hearts had already been yearning for change. With Svenja's pregnancy and the birth of Munanui, we opted to postpone the move temporarily, but now, the time has come for us restless souls to embark on a new adventure.

Our primary focus remains on nurturing our child's resilience amidst change. We refuse to settle for mere convenience; instead, we embrace the growth that arises from overcoming challenges. Despite having moved across six countries in the past, this relocation marks our first as a family unit. With a toddler in tow, our reality is swiftly evolving, and we eagerly welcome each moment, acknowledging our fears while also recognizing that they will fortify us as individuals and parents.

Our trip in Nepal immersed us in moments of anxiety and uncertainty, primarily a result of the absence of Western safety standards and regulations. However, as we wholeheartedly embraced the local way of life, we were profoundly moved by the resilience of these communities, who thrived without the modern conveniences we often take for granted. Ergo baby carriers, strollers, cribs, bottle warmers, sterilizers, and even diapers were luxuries unfamiliar to them.
Our contemplation delved deeply into the labyrinth of societal rules, which at times seem to complicate rather than simplify our lives. We began to question whether these rules genuinely enhance our well-being or inadvertently deter others from embracing the enriching journey of family life. In our quest for answers, we unearthed the transformative power of simplicity and the nurturing embrace of a child-friendly environment, reminiscent of the one we encountered in Nepal.
