It’s July and that means it’s finally time for Locked On Tar Heels’ annual UNC Men’s Basketball summer roster preview series, where we look at one Tar Heel every week until they’re all finished. We’ll eventually get to stalwart RJ Davis, and we’ll hit the transfers Cade Tyson and Ven-Allen Lubin. But first we start with the incoming freshmen. Right out of the gate is big man James Brown. What will be Brown’s role in year one? What will he hang his hat on that will allow him to contribute in his freshman season? What are his current strengths? What does he still need to work on?
