For Nano Clear, we needed a slightly belligerent American voice which didn't sound like a kiwi voice putting on an American accent.We found "Jamal" on ElevenLabs. We used text-to-speech, and he worked perfectly, interacting with our voice to achieve the desired outcome.

When this client came into voice, he wanted an opening line delivering some jargon. Rather than coach another voice through it, he read the line himself and we put it through an AI female voice filter. Here's how it sounded.

This ad featured a young Maori truck driver, a voice we did not have. By delivering a nice clear read, we then used use speech to speech AI to reskin it as ‘Hemi’. The end result is a voice that meets the brief and that we wouldn’t have been able to deliver without AI.

Our voice for this ad raised the very valid point that she’s all over Newstalk ZB and her reading a testimonial style ad could clash on air. With an urgent deadline, a new voice wasn’t really an option. So she read the whole ad in her usual style and delivered it perfectly. Then using AI speech to speech we re-skinned her as a new character. This was a quick and elegant solution to our problem.
