Corporate aviation, also known as Business Aviation, refers to the non-commercial operation or use of aircraft by a company for the carriage of passengers or goods as a tool to conduct company business. These flights are flown under contract by a professional pilot on behalf of the company, the owners of that aircraft, or the administrator of that aircraft, or all of the above.

    Is corporate/business aviation, general aviation?

According to the definition provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), general aviation encompasses any flights that are not operated by the military or by scheduled carriers.

As a result, aviation for Business and private use is considered to be a subcategory of general aviation, which centers on the operation of aircraft, like planes and helicopters.

As of 2020, there are more than 440,000 general aviation aircraft in the worldwide fleet, ranging from small training aircraft and helicopters to intercontinental business jets.

About 205,000 of these are based in the United States.

Business aircraft are used by companies and corporations to transport people or goods related to the needs of said businesses.

Most business aircraft are considered General Aviation variants such as piston, turboprop or business jets.

  • #32 FLY-or-WORK LIFE BALANCE
    Jul 16 2022

“The way I see it, you can either work for a living or you can fly airplanes. Me, I’d rather be flying.”

    —  Len Morgan

    Is it

    Fly Life Balance?

    or

    Work Life Balance?

In the course of our online search for FLY LIFE BALANCE, we were unable to locate any relevant results...

we were able to find hundreds of definitions that relate to WORK in relation to LIFE BALANCE.

This is perhaps due to the fact that for any other non-flying human-beings, the art of flying and its practice EQUALS simply to A JOB, the labor of flying, the AGREEMENT for WORK and not in any way:

OUR UNIQUE SKILLS in the ART of flying, while exercising our PILOTing.

Any pilots on his 2nd or 3rd Quarter Ridership, looking at the LEFT seat or a HEAVIER maybe LONG-HAUL Airframe operation, will have a different concept of what FLY-WORK LIFE BALANCE is, if we compare them with any of us from any other Quarter Ridership.. etc etc…

IN Consequence, any AirCrew (to manage a GENERIC concept of Pilot-ship or heavenly Aviator-ship)... any Xpat AirCrew to be precise

must OPERATE/WORK by meeting its contract clauses and obligations with his Airframe Operator and-or miserable Agency,

and he/she must FLY, in accordance with all rules and regulations that bind that contract with that airframe Operator/Agency at that far away location.

  • #31 Singapore 🇸🇬 (Good, Bad & Ugly)
    Jul 1 2022

The island of Singapore was known to fisherman's and pirates

at least since the 3rd century Anno Domini.

    By the 7th century,

when a succession of maritime states arose throughout the Malay Archipelago,

    Singapore probably,

was one of the many trading outposts

serving as an entrepôt and supply point for Malay, Thai, Javanese, Chinese, Indian, and Arab traders.

After being expelled from Malaysia, Singapore became independent as the Republic of Singapore on 9 August 1965 statesman Lee Kwan Yew was the first prime minister of Modern we know City-state of Singapore.

There are just four airlines with an Air Operator's Certificate in Singapore.

    • Singapore Airlines (SIA),
    • Jetstar Asia (JSA),
    • Scoot (TGW) … and
    • ST Engineering Aerospace.

Flying in Singapore for any of the city's only three airframe operators is a punishing, difficult, highly rigorous, hot, and unpleasant exercise of your license privileges and professional know-how from whichever seat we occupy in the cockpit.

  • #30 Malaysia 🇲🇾 (Good, Bad & Ugly)
    Jun 24 2022

Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country, it shares borders with Thailand to the North, South China Sea, Brunei and Indonesia to the East, and Singapore as its tip in the South, Malaysia was formed on 16 September 1963 by the merger of the Federation of Malaya with the former British colonies of North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore. This marked the end of a 144-year British rule in Singapore which began with the founding of modern Singapore, we invite you to comeback to our next Episode where we will talk and rate the City-state we know…

Malaysia is one of the most beautiful destinations ideals if you are looking for tropical jungles, spectacular islands, turquoise beaches without crowds, theme-parks, modern safe cities, vast development, 1st class airports and infrastructure, clean air, green-verde-midori spaces and by all means: delicious food

Boasting one of the finest transportation networks in Asia, Malaysia has five world-class international airports. The Malaysian government is heavily involved in the domestic aviation sector and is the owner-operator of the nation’s flagship carrier, Malaysia Airlines (IATA: MH), which operates domestic and international services.

  • #29 TOP🛩GUN...🎬
    Jun 8 2022

We are REAL pilots, just like many of you listeners, and that is why we made the decision to switch our initial destination podcast episode 29th, to a review of these exciting and thrilling movie…. which was a game changer for us: Pilot's in Command AVIATORS, as explained in Episode 21 of this Podcast, and why not... black Commodores Pilots, who we all, grew up with and in some way, were impacted in our life in such a manner, when TopGun appeared to the cinemas back then in 1986.

TopGun movie was the first of its kind; although, many aviation movies about World War II had been release before …

Similar to you Millennials and generations that followed, we our generation of pilots did not IDENTIFY with those world war movies, maybe the same as you with TopGun, because we too thought and believed... (similar to you)… that we belong to a different modern and new generation of aviation professionals, not World War II heroes flying old piston-powered aircraft....

Iceman Said: "Maverick, it's not your flying, it's your attitude. The enemy's dangerous, but right now you're worse. Dangerous and foolish. You may not like who's flying with you, but whose side are you on?” Episode XX ring a bell??? no? listen to it and comeback to this quote from Iceman again…

We think, believe and invite you, to consider watching both movies… the original first for you to catch up, and then, go to the movies, the cinema and enjoy its sequel, TopGun Maverick!

A typical aspect of the digestive process is farting, often known as flatulence or flatus.

    Gas is what causes farts

There are two types of gas: the gas that you ingest while eating and the gases that are created in the stomach when food is broken down.

Intestinal gas is composed of varying quantities of exogenous sources and endogenous sources.

The exogenous gases are swallowed when eating or drinking or increased swallowing during times of excessive salivation as might occur when nauseated

ENDOGENOUS gases are produced either as a  by-product of digesting certain types of food, or of incomplete digestion.

So, do you prefer to FART or be FARTED!?!?

    May 14 2022

We all Poop for this matter,  and there is nothing attracting, new, captivating nor special about it …other than a normal and natural action, done by all living creatures in this planet…

Our etiquette, beliefs, personal deeds, as well as our behavior, traditions, and habits of pooping while flying as a crew, MATTER!

Because, believe it or not, our POOPING behavior on board as OPERATING CREW (emphasis on OPERATING…) for this or that operator will have an impact on each other's near future contract renewal (if any) pay perception & value: all of the above based on stereotyping and the categorizing of us: Xpat Pilots in any far away location/or contract!

And since we, the Xpat Pilots on a Contract at that far away location, are not plain raw local residents to behave as they do!

We are the EXCEPTION to their RULE and for that, we must AGREED in EMPATHY and RESPECT for us, to us, by ourselves Xpat Pilots first

and then, if any and at will…
