  • 66. Repetition, Belief, and Becoming: Choosing What You Believe
    Sep 10 2025
What if the thoughts in your head aren’t actually yours? In this episode, I take you into the heart of one of the most life-changing lessons I’ve ever learned: you get to choose what you believe. From the moment my first coach told me I wasn’t a prisoner to my thoughts, everything shifted. I talk about what it means to witness your inner “roommate,” how repetition rewires your brain, and why belief is the foundation of becoming the next version of you. You’ll hear stories about my own journey around food, my body, and business, and how choosing new beliefs didn’t just change my results, it changed who I was being in the process. We’ll also explore the concept of “death by inches” versus “growth by inches,” how to interrupt sabotaging thoughts, and how to walk with love through the discomfort of leaving behind old identities. If you’ve ever wondered whether your beliefs are holding you back, or whether it’s really possible to change, this episode is for you. • 65. The Dark Night of the Soul: Shedding the Old Me to Step Into the Next Level
    Sep 3 2025
If you’re on a journey to become someone new—to level up, to shed old limiting beliefs and patterns—this is the story of what it may look like. The nuances will be different for everyone, but the process is real, and if you don’t know what to look for, it can take you down. That’s why I wanted to get this episode to you as fast as possible. What I’m sharing is what’s known as the dark night of the soul, a concept first described by 16th-century Spanish mystic St. John of the Cross. For me, it has meant facing familiar despair, meeting my inner child with compassion instead of judgment, and learning to stay grounded through dark thoughts that felt “necessary.” This isn’t struggle for struggle’s sake—it’s the shedding, the undoing, the proof that growth is happening. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or scared of the darkness, this episode is for you. You are not broken, you are not alone, and this season may be the very thing preparing you for the next version of you. • 64. What Your Triggers Are Really Telling You
    Aug 27 2025

Your triggers aren’t random outbursts or proof that something’s wrong with you. They’re deeply personal “tells” — signals from your body that you don’t feel safe. In this episode, I break down why triggers develop, how childhood experiences and past traumas shape them, and why they look different for everyone.

You’ll hear real-life examples...from my own triggers around money and body image to the ways clients have discovered their fears of being unheard, abandoned, or not good enough. Together, we’ll explore how shame, rejection, or even a loved one not texting back can set off powerful emotional reactions rooted in old stories. And most importantly, I’ll teach you how to move from reacting — the yelling, numbing, punishing, or withdrawing — into responding with awareness and calm.

By the end of this episode, you’ll understand how to spot your triggers, reframe them as information instead of shame, process them so they lessen over time, and use them as opportunities to grow into your higher self.

  • 63. Intrusive Thoughts, Interrupted
    Aug 20 2025
This is the most powerful episode of You Get to Decide yet. Intrusive thoughts are those unwelcome, painful whispers that sneak in and feel so true, they can shake your confidence, your peace, and even your body. Inspired by Taylor Swift’s recent reflection on her own intrusive thoughts, I’m breaking down what they really are, why your brain throws them at you, and—most importantly—how to stop letting them run the show. In this episode, I share deeply personal examples, the most common intrusive thoughts we struggle with, and my 5 step process to name them, neutralize them, and redirect your energy back to what matters. You’ll walk away with tools that change how you respond to the most defeating thoughts your brain offers. If you only ever listen to one episode of this podcast—let it be this one. • 62. Your Brain Is a Courtroom: Which Side Is Winning?
    Aug 13 2025
If your brain were a courtroom, would your dreams or your doubts win the case? Every day, your defense (the beliefs that support what you want—like the possibility of a loving relationship, financial freedom, or peace in your daily life) and your prosecution (the beliefs that tell you why you can’t—like “there’s not enough time,” “I’m not smart enough,” or “it’s not safe to be seen”) are making their arguments. The one with the most evidence always wins. And here’s the truth—you’re the judge. In this episode, I share how this courtroom visual can help you: Spot the “prosecution” thoughts that poke holes in your possibilities and keep you stuck in old patterns. Strengthen the “defense” by building real evidence for the life you want, even when it feels far away. Understand how your nervous system plays into this, and why safety is the key to sustaining new beliefs. See limiting beliefs for what they are—rusty locks that can be loosened, even if they’ve been in place for decades. I’ll also talk about how most of our thoughts are based on old wiring from our subconscious, why compassion and curiosity are the most powerful tools for change, and how shifting your focus changes your reality. When you learn to be the neutral judge and not attaching to every thought, you can start making rulings that work in your favor and create the results you’re craving. • 60. When You Think You’re at Your Limit: Capacity Talk
    Jul 30 2025
What if you’re only operating at 40% of what you’re truly capable of? In this episode, I’m sharing why I believe we all have infinite capacity — emotionally, physically, intellectually, and operationally — and how to start accessing more of it. From powerful real-life examples like David Goggins, astronauts who turned a crisis into purpose, and everyday people who expanded what they thought was possible, I’ll help you see that you can hold far more than your brain tells you. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’ve reached your limit, this is your reminder: you have more in the tank than you think.
