  • Lifes to short, lets slow down
    Apr 24 2024

Hi everyone, welcome back to the pod! I am happy you are here with me and taking the time to listen to what I have to chat about, very thankful to whoever you are. In today's episode, I share an event that has impacted my "why" on the topic of this topic. Realistically life is not that short, life is pretty long. Life is what you make of it and what you choose to do with it. I am always thinking go, go, go what is next? I never really take the time to just be present with the now. Which is good, but also can take you away from the beauty that life gives you. Anyways, I hope this episode can give you some sense of where I am coming from and to slow down and follow your gut not what others think you should do. Thank you for listening, much love. xoxo, brit.

  • Is goal setting necessary?
    Apr 7 2024

Hi everyone! Welcome back to the pod, in today's episode I talk about goals and whether we need them or not. hahaha, I know you probably already know the answer to that, but I explain the benefits and how we can change our mindset around goals. The word goal can be intimidating, it is a lot of pressure knowing that we need to make this happen or we feel like we failed. However, I think goals are not always going to be something we achieve, but a way of life that we can continue to grow and learn from. In my opinion, I love to have goals, but not a lot all at once...we do live once but we also have a lot of time to try things out. Anyways, I love this topic. Take a listen and let me know your thoughts. xoxo, brit.

  • How can we stop the negative self talk
    Mar 31 2024

Hi everyone!! Hope all has been well for you guys. I again have taken a week off from publishing due to many factors, but no excuses. In this episode, I dive into how I and we as a whole can "stop" the negative self-talk we do every day. Negative self-talk is what keeps us from achieving the dreams and goals we aspire for ourselves and our families. I go into a couple of points that have helped me get out of the negative self talks to myself and I hope that you can try these tips as well. I am not perfect, every day I try to be better than the last but sometimes it can be hard due to life. It is normal. I am here to be real and to help you know that you are not alone. Anyways, I hope you enjoy today's episode and talk to you later. xoxo, brit <3

  • Finding your unique motivators
    Mar 17 2024

Hello everyone! Hope all is well. In today's episode, I dive into to how we can find our unique motivators. I go into what motivates me/why, how routines and habits have helped sustain motivation, and how you can find what motivates you. Again, motivation is not always there, and that is where discipline comes into place. But, what helps is creating sustainable habits that then is a domino effect into being disciplined. Being disciplined helps but it's being specific in what you want to be disciplined in. Start with one thing and get good at it, it will empower you to do more and more. Like I said it is a domino effect. Anyways, I hope you enjoy today's episode!! Will talk to you guys next week. xoxo, brit <3

  • Defining the "best version" of yourself
    Mar 10 2024

Hi everyone! So sorry for a missed pod episode last week, just needed time to myself. Anyways, in this episode, I dive into the topic of self-improvement and defining what is best for you. Social media is the first place to find "how to be better" "how to be successful" etc...which is all great, it can be super motivating to get us back in a grove. BUT this is where we fall into a trap. Self-improvement is about growth and using what we have and forming it to be better day by day. We think we need to "fix" ourselves with self-improvement, and we fall into the dark side of not feeling enough. We also tend to use external forces to give us a sense of accomplishment in hitting our "goals". I could go on, but if you are interested take a listen and let me know your thoughts! xoxo brit <3

  • How do I feel after 101 published episodes
    Feb 25 2024

Hello everyone!! Hope all is well <3 I can not believe this is my 101 episode haha. I didn't even realize I had published 100 until my cousin told me. Shout out to Jadie xoxo! In this episode I just talk about what I have learned about podcasting and myself, I also revisit old episodes. It is so crazy to me that there are now 101 episodes of me talking out to the world. I want to thank everyone who is an OG, or new for being apart of this journey. This podcast means the world to me, it's a deeper part of me that I share with you guys to hopefully feel not alone in this world. I didn't have any intention when I first started but now I think I know what I am doing haha. Every day is a learning curve. But, again thank you to everyone who has supported me, thank you so much. Talk to y'all later! xoxo brit.

  • 10 Questions every 20 year should ask
    Feb 18 2024

Hi everyone :) Hope all is well. In today's episode, I changed it up. I was going to make each question more into an elaborate episode but instead, I put it into one interviewing myself with no preparation. So my answers are very much raw and honest. These questions can be asked at any age, but I am 24 and I know being in your 20s is pretty damn confusing. I do apologize in advance if some questions are not answered well, at this exact moment my mind is thinking too much about a lot. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this episode and have a really good morning, day, week, or whatever time it is <3 xoxo brit,

  • What is holding me back?
    Feb 11 2024

Hi everyone! Hope all is well. I thought to myself let's do something different here. So in today's episode, I approach the conversation on what is holding me back instead of what is holding people back. I don't know what holds you back, but I do know what holds me back. I feel as if it is fair to share my story so that you can relate or feel not alone in a sense. The journey of your 20s is honestly the best time (in my opinion). We are still young, we don't need an answer, and we can try many things. But that doesn't mean the rest of life we need to have it all figured out, I think that the beauty of life is not knowing. Anyways, I can write a book but thats why I recorded an episode haha. Hope you guys enjoy this episode!! xoxo brit <3
