If you've watched the show especially season 2 then you know what a mind trip it was to navigate until the end gave you clarity about what was going on with elliott. but this book gives a deeper dive into Elliott mind and emotions. its also gives a whole lot more insights to his relationships with others. if you love mr.robot this is something you must experience once.

It's been a long time since I've read a children's book and it was a strong refreshing experience that reminded me why I fell in love with reading. three sisters in the 60s flying to meet the mother who abandon them in oakland. a month of new ideas, independence and discovery of self. I would recommend to any age. looking forward to the sequels.

Story
Patricia Campbell's life has never felt smaller. Her ambitious husband is too busy to give her a goodbye kiss in the morning, her kids have their own lives, her senile mother-in-law needs constant care, and she's always a step behind on thank-you notes and her endless list of chores. The one thing she has to look forward to is her book club, a close-knit group of Charleston women united by their love of true crime and paperback fiction. At these meetings they're as likely to talk about the Manson family as they are marriage, motherhood, and neighborhood gossip.

At first I hesitated to pick this book up because it's so different from the authors other books, and it was a rollercoaster ride. I really felt the weight that the characters were under, because the vampire did not fight them like a stereotypical vampire would. The author did a great job of tying in the traits of human monsters as methods to get away with preying on others. Grady's greatest and darkest work.

This is the second in a series and I was interested to see after a spectacular debut if the follow up could measure up. It did that and more. We expanded the main characters world, learned more about everyone's background. Dipped our toes into another aspect of crime and are introduced to characters i hope to see again.

I originally became aware of the book due to it being reviewed by youtuber Cameron chaney, and the description was a meeting of the movie Harvey weights and a slasher flick. I was not disappointed at all, with this fast quick thriller that is fun without being disgusting. Would recommend.

I bought all this author books and started with the everleaf series only to find it was not what the summary and cover led me to believe. These are not black elfs like the cover protrays(literal black face). Chalcedony is irredeemable and unlikeable character and she doesn't deserve coal. The writing is good and the story is okay, but I feel tricked having bought the series. So now i have to finish,so i won't feel i wasted my money.

Story
With few other options, African American classical musician Gethsemane Brown accepts a less-than-ideal position turning a group of rowdy schoolboys into an award-winning orchestra. Stranded without luggage or money in the Irish countryside, she figures any job is better than none. The perk? Housesitting a lovely cliffside cottage. The catch? The ghost of the cottage's murdered owner haunts the place.
