Feels like the Divine Dungeon series
Reviewed: 02-27-24
The first book felt like a prequel series to The Divine Dungeon series with its own story, but the second book feels more like the author was trying to reenvision the Divine Dungeon books. Either way, it was a good read.

I don’t like change in narrators but still good
Reviewed: 09-14-22
You can’t make a great book terrible.. it is a frustrating change but the if you can look past it, the new narrator does an admirable job all the same.. just took me half the book to accept the change to really enjoy it to the fullest.

Good book but narrator could be better
Reviewed: 04-22-22
I loved the story. I normally give 5 stars unless there is something I just really don’t like. The two “narrators” did well. When it came to the guy was narrating, it was great but when he was “voice acting” for the MC, much of the time, he used the wrong emotion for what was being said in context. Otherwise, it was a good listen.

Story
Dominic Thompson becomes an Infernal dungeon core and is given one task: honor the dark goddess by killing adventurers. Choosing an avatar is merely the first step. To become the greatest, he must make the other dungeon cores submit to him. And that means shattering their jeweled hearts. Or seducing their avatars. Lucky for Dom, the dungeon’s avatars are beautiful monster girls. But they’re also the fiercest warriors in the realms, and there’s a fine line between murder and seduction.

They call me mad, but I don’t see anything wrong with using science to create the perfect monster girl. They call me insane, but I just want to live my life with a harem of beautiful cat-girls, bear-girls, fox-girls, snake-girls, and...well, pretty much any type of monster girl. They call me a megalomaniac, but why wouldn’t any red blooded man want to make cute babies with all these beautiful monster girls? They call me evil, but they just don’t realize that I’d destroy anyone who tries to harm my monster girls.

Great story but poor writing and narration
Reviewed: 09-23-20
Marissa Parness does an amazing job with all of her female character voices and when voicing the male characters, Alex Perone does an awesome job.. it’s when he does the narrative speech that is bad. Not sure how to describe exactly what I didn’t like about his narration aside from simply saying he said every word as if it were super interesting and it lost my emotional investment because there was no importance set to important moments versus the mundane.
As for the story and author: the story is great but the writing is terrible... the story makes you wanna listen till the end and even see what will happen in the next books but the lack of variation to descriptive words is cringe worthy. Also, there are many inconsistencies and plot holes that leave you wanting to find a way to contact the author and have him fix it so the great story he has created isn’t butchered as it is..
If you’re wanting this for the adult content, there were only two scenes and they were not that long. They were very well written and performed but not worth buying a bad book for..
Would I recommend this series? Not at all. I’m normally easily entertained but the writing was so jarringly bad, it kept taking me out of the visualization of what was happening.

Story
Who in their right mind tells both his lawyer and the judge presiding over his murder trial, “F--k you!” while still in the courtroom? No one, right? Yeah, you’d be wrong about that. I did. You’d say the same thing if you were just found guilty of a murder you didn’t commit, though. Call me crazy for going off like that in court, but trust me, you don’t know crazy until you see what happened next.

Many sex scenes but more importantly, great story. While at first it seems more about the Main Character getting it on a lot, the MC actual shows much growth as well as the supporting characters. I would say more but don’t want to give spoilers.
Very worth it if you’re looking for a good story or for mature content.

The story is great!!!
I needed to speed the reader up to first 1.25x then to 1.5x after getting used to the speeds. The reader is very slow and the story is a bit too detailed in the first 2 or 3 chapters but soon after that, I became accustomed to the reader and really got into the story. This is a great book!!!
