Over two decades of success as a serial entrepreneur and real estate investor, she has labored relentlessly to crack the code of the super-wealthy, and in doing so, has unearthed six simple habits that directly contribute to those who become part of the self-made millionaire class. I don't leave reviews very often, but I felt the need to review this book. This is not for anyone experienced in business or life. It's a great beginner book, but there are no new concepts here. Nothing out of the ordinary. Everything is very, very basic. I was really hoping to get something out of this, but I had to turn it off midway.

Story
From the start, his path was never predictable. Steve Jobs was given up for adoption at birth, dropped out of college after one semester, and at the age of 20, created Apple in his parents' garage with his friend Steve Wozniack. Then came the core and hallmark of his genius - his exacting insistence on perfection, his counterculture life approach, and his level of taste and style that pushed all boundaries.

Dumbest business book I've ever read
Reviewed: 09-08-22
This is the first review I've ever left for an audible book, but I felt compelled to write something. I've listened to a lot of business books, some I don't like, some I think are boring, etc, but this has got to be the dumbest business book I've ever listened to. It's way over priced for the length of the book. I let that go since several people recommended it to me . . . I figured it must be worthwhile. Not it is not. I couldn't even finish listening, it's completely ridiculous. 50 minutes into the book and all they talked about was a mouse and the moved cheese - the entire book! I get it, it's all about being flexible, being positive and embracing change. There, I summed up the entire book in one sentence. Maybe if you're the type of person that really needs this reinforcement, the book might be for you (still, quite overpriced for the length though, and the Gap and the Gain is a MUCH better book for positive thinking).

Women get mixed messages about how to succeed at work, and research shows that much of the career advice aimed at men doesn't even work for women. We’re left wondering: How do you say no without being labeled difficult? How do you get paid what you’re worth? Should you go for that next big promotion, even though it’ll impact your family? Known for being 2018’s most-booked female speaker in the world and now a nationally-syndicated talk show host, Mel Robbins answers these questions and more with research-based strategies that you can put into action immediately.

Horrible!
Reviewed: 03-15-20
I hardly ever write reviews but felt I had to warn people about this book because it had so many great reviews. All I can say is thank goodness Audible lets you exchange books (by the way, did you know that? Wonderful feature). This book was more of a therapy session than a business book. I am a small business owner and I was really excited to listen to this book. I am a pretty strong person and have a fairly successful business, but I'm always looking to improve myself. I couldn't get through more than 45 minutes of this book. I really gave it a chance, I listened to two of the women's stories and just had to shut it off. Let's just say there's a reason why these women in the book have problems. They don't need a business coach they need a therapist. I can see how this book may be helpful for women who are pushovers, have low self-esteem and other similar issues. But if you are a business woman looking to up your business game, this is NOT the book for you.

We've been told that dairy does a body good, but the truth is that cheese can be dangerous. Loaded with calories, fat, and cholesterol, cheese can make you gain weight and leads to a host of health problems like high blood pressure and arthritis. Worse, it contains mild opiates that make it addictive, triggering the same brain receptors as heroin and morphine. In The Cheese Trap, Dr. Neal Barnard presents a comprehensive program to help listeners break free of their cheese addiction.
