Why is it that the first attractive man to look my way mistakes me for a bad guy, stuffs me in the trunk of his car, and ships me off to an island where I’m positive the only thing waiting for me is my own murder? I mean... yeah, Tavish is charismatic and fun, but did I mention the whole trunk thing? Oh, maybe I forgot to mention his peculiar group of friends who keep promising to “help” me, but why are they running around with masks and weapons while praising fences?

The fae prince caught my eye the moment I saw him, and no, it didn’t have anything to do with the fact that he was being abducted. It’s not even that Callisto adores the large mount who wants to maim him. Or that every time he smiles, flowers bloom around him. No, there’s something else that draws me to him, though when the kingdom begins to fall apart around us, I realize I’m not the only one who wants him.

I was surprised

I didn’t think Daniel and Rory’s story would be interesting but it was. I feel like in this book all the pieces were setup for the coming war. This book does focus on Daniel and Rory but also shows some of Arok and Kiean. It was a good. The narrator was awesome as usual. Can’t wait for the next audio books.

I love Kiki Clark but I wasn’t sure about this book. I loved it. Caden was perfect for Rick. Caden had spunk and stood up for what he knew was right. The supporting cast will all hopefully get a book but I need more Rick and Caden.

If you like blood and pain and possessive alpha types this is the book for you. It wasn’t too angsty which is great. They have enough issues. I didn’t like Benito in the first two books. Harlow was perfect for Benito. The two of them together is so awesome. Narrator was spot on.

I never would have guessed the ending. I wasn’t overwhelmed by the amount of characters and loved most of them. I was worried things wouldn’t work out several times in this book. It made for an entertaining ride. The world that was left standing at the end sounds like a perfect place to start a new series.

I always enjoy when Leland’s “brothers “ come out to play. They are so socially awkward. The way Ms. Winters introduced each character wasn’t overwhelming like when there are too many people to keep up with. They are all so distinct and funny you can’t forget them. I can’t even list the best parts because it’s so much better to experience it for the first time but one of the top five is the duet with Leland and Cassel at the end. LMAO!!!! Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job. Every voice original. I need more please.
