A good read!

This was the first Wilder novel I picked and I’m not disappointed. The story was rich in character development and had multiple plot lines dealing with family dynamics and human history and the mystery of life’s meaning. Recommended.

A timeless classic

Well worth your time and probative if you allow it to penetrate your belief system

Uneven

The narration was uneven, as if some parts were re-recorded and the producer was unable to get the narrator's voice to marry up in terms of volume and tone. Otherwise, the narration was well-paced, clear and brought out the mystery in the story.
