Ronnie Floyd
In this completely updated twentieth anniversary edition, pastor Ronnie Floyd invites believers to join him in better understanding effective prayer with a practical and helpful plan for how to pray. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran in prayer, this audiobook will meet you where you are and encourage you to move to a new level in your prayer life.
The audiobook includes a new foreword from Dr. Floyd, the long-standing pastor of Cross Church in Northwest Arkansas and the new president for the National Day of Prayer.

Although I have always been a believer in God and have always prayed, until recently I've never read a book on the topic. After reading a few books by a few. pastors I'm familiar with, I must say this book actually answered the "How - To". I 've never heard of the pastor of this book, but was drawn in to the first edition by the reviews, and decided to give this newer edition a listen. I'm glad I did.
There is a point that I'm not 100% in agreement with him. It is that you "should not pray" if you are not right in your relationships, (family, friends, coworkers, etc) until they are made right. I feel this a time when "praying through it" is in order. Praying to God to help you overcome and allign with his word. I feel that some may need strength and guidance from the Lord to help the overcome the situation, because they can't do it alone.. They need the help of the Lord to help them see things from a different perspective which could lead to forgiveness. If not, they may never even begin to pray.
However, I do understand what scripture says about forgiveness. And ultimately, we have to come to God with a clean heart, and I believe that prayer helps reach that point.
Overall, this is a good book on how to pray. I really enjoyed it.
