About this listen

The adventures of Farin and Stinker continue.

Can the squire save his master? At the end of his tether, the gravedigger's son desperately tries to help his lord, Knight Emicho. An urgent mission, over the treacherous Western Mountains and into the mysterious Swamplands, is his only option. Yet the greatest dangers he faces are betrayal, distrust, and despair.

In new and strange surroundings, and relying on her wits, Aross must protect her secret. She learns of her murky past and is confronted by the realization that her future will be far from easy.

Great series

Loved all of the books. One of my favorites. You know it’s a great series when you’re still loving it three books in.

A worthy addition to the adventure!

This portion of the continuing saga of the Gravedigger's Son and the Waif Girl took a darker turn, but was still enjoyable. As before, Gildart Jackson did an exceptional job with the narration! I'm looking forward to Volume 4.

I'm loving this series! The narration is whimsical which I love and I'm stoked to see Arros come into her own as the true QUEEN she knew she was all along !

Zogarahzah and Borgaazah

With one more instalment left to complete the series I'm strongly leaning towards this being in the top of my all time favorite series. I very seldom pick up an audiobook with less than 15 hours per book but the blend of nostalgia and classic ghost story tone with witty interesting characters makes me soo happy to in this case have made an exception! I'm certain that before the final book comes out I'll have listened to the first three at least twice again! Well done Mr. Feuerbach thank you!

It keeps getting better

Character development, plots, suspense, and story cohesion... this thoroughly entertains me at work, both happy and sad there is only one left. I love closure but hate the fact I'll have to search hard for something comparable to this.

Hooked.

Comedy, fantasy and a demon with a developing moral compass. What’s not to love? The dialogue and relation between Stinker and Farin is probably my favorite part of this series.

I don’t follow to many books like this unless it a great King or Patterson the 1st book was by accident but the young man & girl's plight got me hooked.
