A little known author (these days) whose work definitely needs more recognition. A compelling story, focused on a family of distinct and diverse individuals caught up in their own personal dilemmas as well as the events, the changes and politics of the time, which takes us back to the early years of the twentieth century and past the First World War. More books by May Sinclair would be appreciated! Excellent narration by Jilly Bond!
