I love this story,💙

I was born and raised on PEI. Charlottetown was my birthplace and my home for 41 yrs.
This story is so dear to my heart. I love Anne, her red hair and her feisty spirit.
Lucy Maude Montgomery is indeed a kindred spirit.

Incredible immersive audio recording!

This book is like an audio recording of a broadway play in surround! What a treat!! The story is endearing as most every one has read before. The narration is nothing less than a performance in acting and sound design. Like I said, what a treat!!! Get this classic gem now you won’t be disappointed at all 🤩

Wow! It was like being inside the book!

I always love this story, but this audible presentation was amazing! I was captivated and felt like I was inside this book! Such a cool way to read this book.

Loved every minute!

The whole series was delightfully done. The voices chosen for the characters drew me right in. I am thankful for a wholesome story to be able to listen to.

The amazing acting

i have listened to radio/audio dramas for over 20 years and I've heard great plays, and I've heard awful ones, and this is among the best. The actors were all excellent. Whenever Anne ( played by Michela Luci) would get excited I couldn't help but smile. The background music was edited well, neither so quiet that it was ignored nor so high that it drowned out what the actors were saying.

An absolutely perfect production

I loved that I felt I was watching a play instead of listening to a book. The actors were great! To hear them tell the story from my childhood was heartwarming.

A truly wonderful story

I’ve been a long time fan of Anne of Green Gables. I was so excited to hear about the Audible Original. It did not disappoint one but and the casting was perfect. I will listen again and again.

Anne revisited

I downloaded this version of Anne due to the fact that Megan Follows directed it. To me she is the original ANNE!
I loved the cast, the music, hearing it fresh.Catherine O’Hara was a great Marilla. Michela Luci was a wonderful Anne. Thank you for bringing one of my favorite stories into a new light!

Phenomenal performance!! Captivating

I’m thrilled this was directed by Megan Follows and it was just such a fantastic rendition of my favorite book. You really brought Anne to life in a truly beautiful way, thanks so much. Please do Anne’s House of Dreams next! The entire cast was incredible.
