But then I meet him. Zac. A huge, tattooed male scarier than any alien I've seen so far. I feel something when I look at him. Something consuming. Too bad for me that he doesn't feel the same way. And too bad for both of us that his ship is damaged, his weapons useless, and neither one of us is likely to make it off Stygian alive.

Her Kind of Crazy

I really enjoyed this one because Zack met his match! She was straight crazy and didn’t back down. I loved her! And her actions at the end of the book…epic!

A human female murderer is taken from an earth prison by non-human aliens. She then escapes but hides on a space ship and lands on non-human alien prison planet. Once there she realizes that this was probably not a good decision. She is quickly claimed by the man who rules Stygian, who wants to keep her imprisoned for life because he needs her blood. She desperately needs to escape.

I love the heroine! Fighter!

I love the heroine! I really enjoyed this story. I was sad it ended. 😔

Sensing a pattern of prisoner proximity

That’s two books in a row where the MCs are imprisoned together and forced to have sex in public.
Also, two books in a row where the human female was instantly lusting/loving the alien. And, two books in a row where his immense size was “touching places inside [her] that have never been touched.”

The different part was the lion-alien versus wolf-shifter, but it didn’t much signify except for him to play hard to get because aliens and humans don’t mix. There wasn’t enough real plot, dialogue, or chemistry for me and I’m glad this was a free listen.
