We need a longer story or series with all these wonderfully crafted characters in it!!!!

New to me, refreshing characters

Listen to a ton of fantasy and sci fi and to me most high fantasy like this is stale, predictable. I think the characterization of fate as a magician who has forgone magic, and as a loner making a new friend—the Tutor—puts a fresh frame around the familiar elements, and the reader is just performative enough to bring it to life while keeping Fate a steady, strong presence.

Ok book. Nothing riveting like battle mage

Just a good average listen. Well performed.battle mage is the best…. Some good chapters with decent story.

Master of short stories

He doesn’t seem to write long stories, but they’re very good ones none the less. Check out battle mage as well.

Good characters, good pace, short and sweet. Short fantasy story is a nice change.
