So many Christians, instead of accepting God’s invitation to enter His throne room, stand alone outside the door, uncertain and ashamed. Christ beckons them to His banqueting table and offers them a room in His house, but they foolishly give up the glory of the life He has offered. They come to Jesus as Redeemer but never go beyond the doorway to abide in Him and experience the unspeakable joy of dwelling with the King of Kings.
Andrew Murray knew what it meant to be continually in the Father’s presence. Listen to these 31 heart-searching readings and learn how to live daily in closer communion and fellowship with Him. Accept God’s invitation and live in His blessing and glory instead of shuffling your feet at the gate.

Psalm 45:7 says:
“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”
Notice the blessing came after loving righteousness AND hating wickedness. You cannot truly walk with God while constantly making peace with things that grieve Him. Sometimes spiritual growth means your spirit no longer feels comfortable around certain conversations, environments, habits, or people.
God honors people who stand for what is right even when it costs them relationships, popularity, comfort, or approval. The more you align yourself with righteousness, the more peace, clarity, discernment, and joy God pours over your life.
Stop apologizing for wanting to live holy.
Stop shrinking to make wicked people comfortable.
Light was never meant to blend in with darkness. ✨
