I enjoyed this bundle and though series and it's interconnected mot can be read as stand alones. They were all pretty light listens with good narration and fairly sweet stories.

Sweet Bundle

This is my second time listening to this series and the first time around I gave it 5 stars. The second time wasn’t as great as I thought it was. It didn’t keep my attention, and several things got on my nerves. Some of the conflicts seemed somewhat childish, and there’s no way professional assassins or mobsters would make so many stupid mistakes and still be alive. It was just too unbelievable. I like action, but there wasn’t even much real action. It was just one botched plan after another and the “bad guys” were always so much smarter. I can’t handle incompetent MCs.

Too unbelievable

Snow Falling: The writing in the story was riveting and kept me wanting to come back for more. Intrigue and mayhem mixed with a bit of love...what a mafia story. Snow and Christopher are an amazing pair and I enjoyed listening to their journey of discovery.

Hug it Out: The second in the Haven Hart series...interesting to say the least. I enjoyed listening to the story and getting entangled in the story of Teddy and Riordan...the hugging thing was hard for me to wrap my brain around. At first, I spent so much time thinking about the reality of a job but in this world who knows. As the story progressed and the intrigue of Riordan's work and the addition of other characters, not to mention how it tied in with Snow and Christopher...I liked it, but...

A Dangerous Dance: Third in the series...at first, I did not think I was going to like this book. But not sure what happened, but I loved the journey to Mace and Bill. The intrigue and mystery of the story and all the action, and then Mace and Bill coming to terms with their entanglement...damn good book. I could not stop listening, causing the next day to be very long but well worth the journey.

From the Ashes: Learning the history about Black put a lot of things into perspective. Also, realizing that Quill, though young, had been through a lot as well. Though there is an age gap between the two, they fit, and you could tell as the story was presented. As always, the story includes intrigue, a bit of mystery, and a love story in the making. The ending was very symbolic, and I was a bit verklempt. I really enjoyed this journey, the 4th part of the Haven Hart Universe series. I am looking forward to seeing where we go next...

What a series...

Not normally a mafia fan, but a rec from a friend made it sound worth a try and I’m glad for it.
Snow Falling
Soft hearted, homeless guys throws himself between a kid and a bully, this good dead leads to a face to face with a mafia boss, not sure who more challenged. Good first step to open the series
Hug It Out
Teddy is a professional cuddler, he soothes the anxieties of touch deprived clients Riordan is an assassin under duress with a very strict code, breaking that code brings opens the floodgates.
Dangerous Dance
Is the most fun and grim of the series so far, when we first met Bill, he was the most likely to be dead character, Bill apparently is part cat (not literally) and has 9 lives, not only is he still alive but he has the trust of Snow & Christopher, he also he no tolerance for No Trace Mace. Mace is off his game of late, so when Mace & Bill are paired to take down the threat it’s explosive on so many levels.
From the Ashes
Black is surly, Quill’s a flirt both are in for a surprise. When Quill finds himself in trouble, Black is last person he expects to come to his rescue

Overall, strong characters with interesting backstories, fast moving, action packed subplots,

Better than expected

I wasn't sure what to expect but wasn't disappointed. Definitely has a few really dark parts. Which I love. So no complaints. Liked the characters and the world that was built. Well worth checking out this box set, and definitely worth the credit.

Actually alot of fun
