Wishing to avoid any scandal, Miss Ellie's pedigreed family prefers to let sleeping dogs lie, but as Melanie begins to sniff around, she discovers Miss Ellie had many secrets, both in the dog show world and among her Kentucky kin....

Inexperienced New Narrator

I too enjoy the series; however, I am. Or a fan of the new narrator and won’t continue with the series. I would rather spend my money on narrators that can bring a story to life rather than sound the same from character to character.

Enjoyable story but bad narrator

I love the Melany Travis stories. I read many of them years ago and was delighted to find so many available on Audible. I started from the beginning again and I loved the narration - until this book. This narrator is, frankly, dreadful and I don’t criticize much! What a shame.

Reader is awful !

Why did you change Readers, she is terrible. so sad I can't even get through the story. So monotone so so sad !!

I was a little let down by the abrupt ending. the ending left me hanging.

the narrator that read story sounds like a computer! I couldn't really even understand part of it
