Titus sought glory in the Free States Infantry. He ended up in the Engineers. When the chance came to prove himself, he grabbed it with both hands.

And caught the eye of the Intelligence service. How could a boot enlisted engineer transform into a soldier who works behind the scenes to root out corruption in the ranks as easily as providing combat intel to the front lines?

Titus thought life was dangerous as a ground pounder where he could hold duty and honor as ideals, knowing that his squad had his back. But the intel world was different where he needed the courage to do what was right, no matter how many times the people he thought were on his side tried to kill him.

Titus Pohlmeyer was a secondary, but vital, character in the United Federation Marine Corps and the Lysander Twins series. This is the first book of his story.

Definitely different than sentenced to war, but that’s a good thing. I hope there’s more in this series.
Narrator is awesome.
Highly recommended.

I liked this. Hopefully there will be more.

Outstanding story, it’s essentially an anthology of the various deeds of a well written character. Female voices could be done better.

Great book

At first I figured this would be a bad and somewhat strained low quality sci fi, but as I listened it got better and more complicated a web of experience. It is not revolutionary and it holds a lot of what one would expect from the genre, but it is done well and at least the military parts I could relate to and they were believable enough. My Greatest frustration with the book was finding out there is no sequel available on this app. The start was Odd and slow, but sticking to the finish was definitely worth it, and I can only hope it was just the close of the first chapter.

Cliche done well

More , I hopes there will be more soon, this was a great story with developed characters

Excellent story

As a Combat Veteran, I didn’t know what to expect when I picked the audio book up. This Sci/Fi was closer to some of the realities of military life than some of the military biographies that I have read and with humor to boot. I will be tracking down more of Brazee’s book today. Good story, good narrative, can’t go wrong with this book.

Very enjoyable
