An original full-length novel set in the Halo universe and based on the New York Times bestselling video game series!

August 2558. Rion Forge was once defined by her relentless quest for hope amidst the refuse and wreckage of a post-Covenant War galaxy—years spent searching for family as much as fortune. But that was before Rion and the crew of her salvager ship Ace of Spades encountered a powerful yet tragic being who forever altered their lives. This remnant from eons past, when the Forerunners once thrived, brought with it a revelation of ancient machinations and a shocking, brutal history. Unfortunately, the Ace crew also made dire enemies of the Office of Naval Intelligence in the process, with the constant threat of capture and incarceration a very real possibility. Now with tensions mounting and ONI forces closing in, Rion and her companions commit to this being’s very personal mission, unlocking untold secrets and even deadlier threats that have been hidden away for centuries from an unsuspecting universe....

First, I'd like to say that Tim Dadabo is one of the best narrators I've ever heard. Choosing him for this novel is obvious, but I would love to hear more Halo novels narrated by him in the future, regardless of Spark's presence in the novel (or lack thereof.)

Kelly Gay has written an incredible story that gets you hooked from the very beginning. I originally listened to this before having read the previous two stories involving the crew of the Ace of Spades, and while I was missing some context, the story was presented in a clear manner that made it easy to understand. It was so good, in fact, that I bought the previous two novels in order to reread this one with the full context of the characters, and I'm even more in love with Point of Light now than I was before.

Definitely a must-buy if you're a Halo fan, especially if you loved the Forerunner trilogy by Greg Bear.

Kelly Gay Is Phenomenal

By far my favorite narration! And so much I never expected to learn about the halo universe.

Amazing

How the Libraian managed to have time to get all theses things done before Halo fired is beyond me.
I hope we hear more of Spark as I'm sad to see him part from Rion.

Would love another story about Rion and crew.

Tim did a wonderful job with this book and yet again I am thoroughly happy with Kelly gays writing. Managed to make me cry and then laugh within a very short period at the end. Want to hear more of Timothy as a narrator for sure.

Great book, great reading.

How can one begin to describe the magnificence that Kelly Gay has penned in her Halo series? Mystical. Mythic. Magnificent. These only scratch the surface.
Rion Forge's and Chakas' story, while not concluded as yet, has brought the legend of the forerunner trilogy into the 2550s; Halo's present time frame. And though we saw a such a small piece of Zeta Halo, all that was shown and told is of such great significance not only to Halo's continuity but also any modern philosopher's thought base that you'd be remiss to miss this book/sub-series. Gay's style is so fitting to the perspectives she covers that the only thing that could make it better is animation accompaniment in the vein of Saddie's Story, a la Halo 3: ODST.
The visualizations this story invokes are like visions directly imprinted from the Domain, and I can't help but feel that the author may have a geas of her own.

Tim Dadabo brings the best Spark performance yet!
