Narrator was a little whiny

The story was really good and I really liked this book but the narrator got really whiny when reading some characters parts and by the end of the book I was wanting to fast forward through it

Narration hurt the story

I have read a 3 of Jennifer McMahon's novels and enjoyed all.
I thought the story moved slowly in the beginning and almost chose not to listen.
The narration did not make this story interesting. I wondered if I had been able to read it in its print format I would have found it much more appealing.
However, I'm glad I continued because the ending had a great twist.

Scary

We’ll written but demonic and scary. Human torture and child abuse. Would not read again but couldn’t put it down.

Loved this

Great story that from the beginning had me guessing! Will definitely recommend! Like the twist at the end too!
